To The Administrator of Comunidades Of North Zone Gaunkary of Mapusa, Bardez, Goa. Sub: Complaint Received Regarding Ill-treatment of Gaunkars. Sir, I am in receipt of a letter dated 14/12/06, addressed to His Excellency, the Governor of Goa, with a copy addressed to you as well, by Gaunkar Eurico Mascarenhas, belonging to the Comunidade of Serula. Our Organization is shocked and pained to learn about the treatment meted out to him when he visited your office to seek redressal for his grievance. We believe that such behavior by you towards Gaunkars is deplorable especially when your office is supported financially by the Gaunkars who must be treated by you with dignity and available at all times for their service. You may therefore kindly tender your apology to Gaunkar Eurico Mascarenhas within 15 days from receipt of this letter, failing which we shall report your insulting behaviour to the higher authorities and seek punitive action against you.
