(The camera opens in a small room with tan walls and brown carpets, it is sparsely furnished, with the exception of a large oak desk and a large painting of the N.E.W corporate head quarter�s hanging on the wall behind the desk. A door opens on the far right side of the room and out walks Abark. He strides over to the desk and placing his brief case on top of the desk opens the brief case and removes a stack of papers. Placing the stack of papers on the desk Abark removes the brief case and sets it in the floor before talking his seat behind the desk. )

Abark: Ladies and gentleman, N.E.W staff and N.E.W fans. I come before you tonight in a humble position. You see I have promised you a show and for the first time in the history of this great company I have failed to deliver upon my word. I would like to say I am sorry to the fans for the inconvenience and assure you that I am taking steps to make those responsible for this will be held accountable.

(Abark shuffles a few papers on his desk and continues to speak. )

Abark: In the last few weeks we have come upon a situation that we here in New England wrestling have never seen before. And in many ways this was the beginning of the situation we now find ourselves in. A while back our company joined forces with another company, the N.E.W.A, in an effort to raise both companies to a higher standard of performance, to show the entire wrestling world a bright and glorious new standard in wrestling for all to follow.

(Abark shakes his head. )

Abark: Sadly enough our choice in partners was well, poor to say the least and a long and costly court battle ensued to terminate the legal contracts that we had entered into. I not wanting to se this great federation tarnished took it upon myself to spear head this operation, but what of the N.E.W. I realized that in my absence I must leave someone at the Helm and against my best judgment I placed Vice President Harley the hammer Clarkson in command in my stay. That as you can so plainly see was a huge mistake. You see in stead of doing the job that I had charged him with he choose to ignore his duties in order to spend his time pursuing his own interest and because of this the N,E,W suffered. And this leads us to the situation we now find ourselves in here today.

(Abark looks up at the ceiling and clearing his throat slightly he continues. )

Abark: As you know we have had two consecutive unaired shows in the last two weeks, these mistakes are the first I would like to address. Now the first show was slated to take place in Mexico. This was the first charge to witch Harley was to be responsible. And as usual he did the job much like he seems to do everything in life, he did it in a completely half assed manner. He took care of everything with one shining example he did not see to the small matter of the payments to the Mexican government for broadcasting rights, so the show went on as planed but since we could not broadcast it was never aired.

Abark: This small fact did not come to my attention until half the week had passed. You see instead of coming to me and being a man about the whole thing Harley chose to keep it to himself, try to handle it in house as it where, and once again he failed miserably. This was a huge set back for us. A set back that should have cost Mr. Clarkson his job, but I being the benevolent man that I am chose to over look it and took steps to make sure the footage that we did get was indeed aired. Footage mind you that I had never seen but trusting in my talent I was sure that the matches would be up to the caliber that we here in the N.E.W have always strived for.

(Abark coughs a bit and clears his throat. )

Abark: I slatted a second show this one to be held in Japan, with highlights from the Mexico show to be aired through out. This in my humble opinion was an enormous undertaking and had it been successful may have been a huge feather in the N.E.W. cap, but instead it has turned into a disaster.

(Abark wipes a stay hair out of his face and continues.)

Abark: I believe that this disaster is directly due to the managerial style of the vice president. Witch all the way up to this point has been grossly inadequate and has driven our talent pool into the ground. The pressure that he placed on the staff was enormous, and his example was poor and I believe that this has lead to the lack luster, nay piss poor efforts of the men and woman in this company. The shabby sorry excuse for matches I saw in both Mexico and Japan made my heart sink to the ground. Never before in my life have I seen such a sorry excuse for a work ethic. I have seen homeless bums fight with more passion and over much less a prize than I saw from out talent here in the last few weeks. And that is why I choose to do what I have done. I will not air this show; in fact I have burned the master tapes from that horrid incident so they may never see the light of day. I would rather give you the fans nothing at all than to force you to see that garbage that took place last week.

(Abark looks down at his paperwork, shuffling through them he again he looks back up at the camera and continues. )

Abark: Now as I said this is indeed a tragedy, I feel for you the viewing public and I sympathies for the situation that this puts you in. You the great fans of the N.E.W deserve better than this after all the time and money you invest in seeing your favorite stars battle it out in the squared circle. But the N.E.W has not wan well not ever let you down, I am sorry to say that unfortunately our talent here has but as I said I will be taking steps to make that right. And it begins now. To ALL of the N.E.W staff and crew if you do not step to the plate if you do not take your jobs with more seriousness than I have seen out of you in the last few weeks you will be severely penalized. Ands believe me when I say this all penalties will be strictly enforced, no questions no appeals no, please give me another chance you will be fired, it is as simple as that. From her on out we have only one law in the N.E.W put up our shut up.

Abark: Now on to the state of our last show, for you the devoted fans I will now take the time to give you the current status of the N.E.W, by telling you who lost last week. Or at least I would if I had not slept through most of it, all I do seem to recall is in the match between Logan & Mr. Uncensored vs. Nick Sharpe & harbinger much to my shock and amazement the better Logan and Mr. Uncensored lost.

Abark: You may have notice that I choose to announce the losers instead of the winners because do to this situation we are all losers. I have lost the faith I once had in the talent I employed & the company lost out on millions of dollars in advertising revenue. (Abark looks down at his paper work before looking back up and saying almost as if it where nothing more than a footnote.) �..and the fans lost out as well.

Abark: So we may have hit some troubled waters and mistakes may have been made but these are rare mistake will never happen again. We here at the N.E.W can stand proud in our accomplishments and where we may stumble from time to time we will never fall I will see to that personally.

(Abark turns his attention back to his paper work and than back to the camera once more. )

Abark: The N.E.W has stood proud for more than five years and In the last five years the New England wrestling company has brought you only the finest in wrestling. There are very few wrestling companies in the world that can boast the accolades and accomplishments that we can. Many companies have stood against us and we have beaten them all The I.W.O, The A.C.W.F, The C.W.F, all dust beneath our feet. And why because we have always been and will always be the superior force in wrestling. I will make sure that this legacy continues for myself my family my company. So to all of you out there watching tonight take heart, The N.E.W is back on track and much like the phoenix rises from the ashes so shall we burning better and brighter than ever thank you God bless you and good night.
