The Ryder Insyder

The Ryder Insyder

June 24, 2003

Hey there wrestling guys and girls, its your old friend JR Ryder here bringing you some more wrestling scopes and news. Well enough with the small chater lets get ater.

Well in UGW things have really started to heat up between No Respect and Martin and King Harv(to members of Team Hell and The UGW Tag Champs). The fued is the best thing going for the UGW leading up to the first PPV this year. It will be worth watching just to see how this fued unravels. We alos now know that Pope(UGW TV Champ) will be facing Akira for the Heavy-weight Title at Singled Out. I hope this one will be a good match but we will see what happens in the up and coming weeks. Bonar took and Fuel took there first UGW loss this past UGW T.V. Bonar lost to Akira and Fuel lost to Pope. The new Mexican Champ is Na Nin and I highly doubt that will last past this week. Mike Sledge is out with a paper cut(damn those magic cards). There are at least to new wrestles coming to the UGW, when they will debut? You got me. Well UGW is again calling the park home and seem to have no intentions of changing that. Singled out will be held in about 3 weeks no exact date has been set.

CWF's Super Card is the biggest PPV to happen this summer. With a lot of heat now happening between Kelly and Hotshot Joe. Just last week Kelly Stunnered Joe and threw his tag title away. This is the end to a tag team, and the end to a company? Skull, King Harv and Bonar are in disagreement. Skull and Bonar last week beat King Harv out of there team(which has yet to be offically named). This may lead to a Skull vs King Harv match at Super Card or even BOna vs King Harv. Calvin still has the Canadian Title and Jesus still hates him. Carlos is the new light-heavy weight Champ and may hold that title for a long time. The Hardcore Title is seeming to lose its flavor in the CWF, maybe head office will do something to boost it's popularity.

I haven't seen much of DRW lately. They have a new site, its really good and much better then the last one.>

Well two UGW/CWF/DRW wrestlers will be heading to Saskatoon on July 31 for RWF's Doomsday. I don't know exactly yet what is happening but the two home town boys will be having a match. Also in August Bonar, King Harv, Hotshot Joe, Hardcore Kelly and Calvin Vo will be heading to Kobra's hole in the ground to wrestle. Why you ask. I really don't know, maybe because they have nothing better to do. Also Kobra always is fun to laugh at, not with at.

In the WWE Kane is unmasked and unburnt? Wow who saw that coming. HHH didn't sell again, but that was easier to see coming then Kane's Face not being burnt. Lance Storm is not boring. France is better then America. And Nash sucks ass. He didn't even get a pop, Lance storm got a bigger pop then Nash. I vote Kevin Nash as the next Big Slow. Ultimo Dragon is going to debut on Thursday. I know I can't spell debut. WWE shows are getting better and I did enjoy HHH vs Kane it was the best HHH match I saw in a long time I saw only one bad move and it was a neck breaker. I hate WWE writers.

Thats all the time I have so until I get the urge to talk about wrestling again sit tight and watch your old UGW tapes and if you don't have any order them from [email protected] or at the UGW website.

Hello wrestling fans. Well Both the CWF and the UGW have started back up. Ugw has finished 2 shows and the CWF has done 3. It has been a battle for the spotlight with these two feds and the race doesn't seem like it is going to end anytime soon.

Fisrt I will start with the UGW. It has added to its roster Bonar, Hotshot Joe and Hardcore Kelly. Bonar was brought into the UGW by Fuel at the first show of UGW. Bonar and Fuel fought No Respect. No Respect came in and started disrespecting everything about UGW and got on a lot of peoples nerves. HArdcore Kelly and Hotshot Joe have already made there mark by a part Team Hell. They stole the Popes Heavey Weight Title shot and almost put Martins Head through King Hravs brand new Lincon New Yorker driver side window. They also made King Harv spit out a really good piece of gum. So No Respect has made nothing but enemys here in the UGW. Akira keeps on impressing me. He defeated Kelly and retained his title. Akira has improved so much over the past 2 years and his skills keep on growing. The Mighty Adam was found dead in his house March 6th or 7th, I forgot how he died as should you. With all this It seems like the UGW will have a great year.

The biggest news in the CWF is they rehired me JR Ryder and they hired me a comintating buddy Joey Frankeneny. We have already proven we are the best Tag Team the CWF has behind the camara and we make every CWF show barable to watch. Also the CWF has hired Bonar. I guess if it works for one fed why can't it work for another. CWF Tag Team Chumps....sorry my mistake Champs seem to be showing signs of break up, but thats my oppinion. Kelly seems more interested in making sure Hotshot Joe keeps the title till SuperCard so he can take it from him then being Hotshot Joe's Tag Team partner. Hotshot Joe just wants to be a fighting World chump...damn the "a" and "u" are to close together...World Champion. Calvin Vo and Jesus have really spiced up the CWF by continuinng their fued from last year. Skull aslo has shown up with his solution to all his problems, but this may be a problem for Skull's buddy King Harv.

DRW are still DRW>

Not to much has been happening outside of the CWF and UGW so there has been little for me to write about. I will probably end up writing a new Insyder soon to make for the crapy one this is.

Thats all the time I have so until I get the urge to talk about wrestling again sit tight and watch your old UGW tapes and if you don't have any order them from [email protected] or at the UGW website.

Hello there wrestling fans, it is I JR Ryder once again bringing you the insyde scoop on wrestling.Well not much has been happening In the UGW as of late because of the snow and schedule problems. The UGW is still a fully functioning federation although the CWF are preaching otherwise. Mr.Joe Bates is in the process of purchasing yet another building for the UGW. This has been the5 new building for the UGW in under a year. The reason there has been so many property changes this year is beacuse of the city putting strick by laws on where we can wrestle. Everytime Mr. Bates buys a new place we get booted out before we can get everything ready for our shows. This time we may have the city beat as the new place is located on a secret spot and the location won't be released untill the first UGW event is scheduled.

The CWF has about as much going on as the UGW.. Ok really the CWF has less going on then the CWF. CWF has been doing nothing, but putting the UGW and DRW down. CWF hasn't been concerned about there wrestling product as a whole. They only seem to be concerned with the a few of there top superstars. CWF's Hotshot Joe and Hardcore Kelly are the only talent that have been training at the UGW training camps. Also Hotshot Joe, Hardcore Kelly, and occasionally The Skull go to Joe's Place to wrestle. Well the UGW have more then have of there roster show up to the training camps. Also the UGW roster has been seen wrestling not just there own talent at Joe's place, but taking on everyone from DRW and CWF. The UGW are trying to expand there product where as the CWF are content it seems with the same product they produced last year. They don't even try to get the rest of there roster out and train. The CWF are more concerned it seems with how well DRW is doing. Oh I am sorry The CWF are more concerned with how crappy they think DRW is. Now I know CWF will probably say something stupid like Hardcore Kelly was the Joe's Place Champion first and that Him and Hotshot Joe have had the best matches at Joe's Place and othe such bullshit. CWF needs to grow up and stop trying to run there promotion like a Kobra would.

In other news UGW's own King Harv is the newly crowned JP champion. He defeated the very over rated Hardcore Kelly from the CW"yawn"F. The match was great only because King Harv has the talent to carry anyone in match including CWF "superstars"(if that is what you can call them.).

Ok enough with putting done the CWF, they do that enough by themselves.

This is the last time I will talk directly about Kobra, Bill, and the CIWA. The CIWA wants to us to let go and move on and so we will.

DRW has been getting better. Will and Nobb are two wrestle that have impressed more and more. Both of them have gotten much better in the ring and put on very entertaining matches. Urs Da Curse is as always still one of the best wrestlers to watch in the DRW and at Joe's Place. The only probalem with Urs is that injurys seem to follow him around like 12 year olds follow Fuel around.

The UGW website is now fully functional and is looking fan"freaking"tastic.

Mike McSugar has signed a none wrestling contract with the UGW, but no one knows what he is going to be doing.

I, JR Ryder, have been working on making a website for me and all my oppions on wrestling. On my site I will talk about BYW, Professional Wrestling, I will have event listings, results of events, and much more The site will be up and running in a few months.

Thats all the time I have so until I get the urge to talk about wrestling again sit tight and watch your old UGW tapes and if you don't have any order them from [email protected] or at the UGW website.

Hello all you wrestling fans, Im J.R. Ryder and this is my Ryder Insider.

Well, In the world of UGW a few, not so good moments have happened. UGW has lost Cyanide, Former UGW Tag Team Champion and Former member of Team Hell. Cyanide left the business for personal and family reasons. We wish him the best of luck in the future.

Other then that business has been slow for UGW. We have had a few training camps where we have seen UGW and CWF talent train together. Also UGW has got a new arena once again. They have purchased the old MJWF building from the city of Moose Jaw. So look forward to seeing some matches coming your way from the former MJWF arena.

Most of UGW's time is spent at DRW shows. UGW and the CWF have been preforming infront of DRW crowds and winning a few over. We have seen many great matches involving King Harv against Kelly, King Harv against Urs da Curse, King Harv against Hot Shot Joe. Also Kelly and Hot shot Joe have had there own matches which were great to watch. Kelly also had some memorable matches with The Skull as well. Bonar made his backyard wrestling return at a DRW show against Kelly. The two have had a few clashes and have exchanged wins and losses. Bonar has Power Bombed the Mamoth of a man several times, but Kelly has also left Bonar beat, bloody and pulling splinters out of his head from a table match two weeks ago. Kelly also faught a returing Wayne. Kelly then sent Wayne back to the hospital after a piledriver from the top of a table to the chair covered floor. If you have never heard a holy shit chant in a christian youth center then visit Joe's Place every Friday and Saturday, King Harv, Kelly and the others never seem to disapoint.

Fuel has came back from neck sugery and is feeling fine. He will return to the UGW ring soon. He has started training at the UGW camps and continues to show much improvement.

Mike Sledge has returned as well to the UGW roster. Mike ahd recently been out of action for most of the second year of UGW because of a crack in his tail bone after an Etreme Stomp fromt he top rope to Senior Loco went bad last September.

More new talent will be being signed with the UGW. We just have to wait and see who it will be.

The Website has changed and will continue to change over the next few months. The UGW website is under new management and will be working on making the website more appealing for the UGW fans.

In SCW news, everyone knows Bonar, King Harv, Hotshot Joe, Hardcore Kelly, The Skull, and Limit Breaker Calvin were all let go by Bill in January. SCW and the Moose Jaw boys have had there differences in the past and they just keep on growing. Bill has one thing right we do need more training, but he was to stupid to train us properly so he lets us go.

The first UGW show is in the works. No one knows when it will take place, but all the fans are waiting for the date to be released.

CWF SuperCard will be a much atticipated show, since it was promised to the fans last year before snow fall. But everyone knows CWF can't do anything right. Kinda like Bill.

Well thats all the time I have today, well ok I have all day today, but if I talk anymore CWF will have to cry infront of there families because I can get mean. Peace, Love, and JR RYDER.

November 8th, 2002

Hello wrestling fans, Im J.R. Ryder and this is my Ryder Insider.

Well, not much as been happening in the world of UGW. We have been kinda on hold as of late, but I still somehow can bring the biggest news in wrestling.

The biggest news right now circling in the UGW is the signing of one of backyard wrestlings legends.....BONAR! Thats right, for the past two months UGW Head Office and Bonar have been under negotiations, and on November first of 2002 Bonar signed his soul to the UGW.

Now, many will remember Bonar from the MJWF where he dominated the ring. He is a former hardcore champion, and was also the first Hardcore Champion ever in the MJWF. He is also a three time former Tag Team Champion, and Former World Heavy Weight Champion. In The MJWF he lost the Hardcore title to fifteen other men in a Hardcore Battle Royal and he was only pinned once as a Tag Team Champion. His third Title reign as a Tag Champ ended when he gave up the Titles. Then he was striped of his World Title when MJWF was bought by me....oops. Bonar was one of the few men to ever beat Bob in MJWF. Bob was only ever beaten by four men in his career. There have only been a few wrestlers that have ever gotten a pin fall over Bonar. And even fewer of those men who have not yet been pinned by Bonar. One of those men is King Harv. Maybe thats why Bonar has came back, maybe he wants revenge for MJWF's Resurrection pay-per-view, when King Harv pinned Bonar in his own ring.

We never saw Bonar compete in the UGW because Bonar stayed true to the MJWF until the bitter end. Then he joined the Great White North Wrestling Federation, and finally headed to SCW/SECW/CIWA/WCWL/ABCW/HUL/GE or what ever they call themselves this month.

Also since the Pope signed with the UGW many Backyard wrestling fans figured it would only be time before the 5'8" Bonar would sign. Bonar was the reason why Pope got into wrestling in the first place. They have feuded and tagged all through out there careers. Bonar and Pope held the Tag Team Titles twice as Revolution -X-, and were know for ther feud for the World Title at ending of MJWF for the first time.

Bonar will return to the ring hopefully by December or January. Most of you know already the Bonar broke is ankle during a SCW show back in July. He has been working hard to get his ankle back to 100%. And When he does get back, I think King Harv and everyone else should be sacred......I am.

Also if you have been reading the UGW message board you have seen messages left by Akira2. Well you might wonder who is Akira2, and well, youre not alone. Many people haven't a clue who he/she is. Some source say that Akira2 is a student of Akira and even sports the "Curse of Akira" mask. I have heard that Akira2 comes from a long line of great wrestling names like Hung Well, Jobber number 1, and even Death. I have heard the Akira2 has been trained also by these 3 men, and this is probably why is wants to be trained by Akira, because honestly what have those other three guys ever done? Well we welcome Akira2 to our roster and good luck.

Kelly is gay.

DRW shows can be seen every Friday and Saturday night at Joe's Place Youth Center. There you will see UGW and CWF wrestlers also battle it out. Such stars like King Harv, Kelly, Canabillistic, Hot Shot Joe, Harly, Will, Ears, The Curse, Jason, Steve and many more. Shows are free and knowing the DRW someone will get a concussion.

CWF will be having there Second Anniversary show this long weekend. CWF is going to be doing a show for it yeah...um go CWF? Sure why not. Martin has been working out in Japan during this break the UGW has been taking. Martin, who goes by the name The Chef Of Death in Japan, has been training there in the Bonanza Dojo for Backyard Japanese Wrestlers. Hes being trained by such wrestlers like the mighty Luke Guest and a chick he likes. Um he is the Bonanza Hardcore Champion and full time sushi vender during intermissions. When the UGW starts back up, be prepared to see Martin use some martial arts style moves like Turkey Ala Mode and No Sushi For You arm bar submission of pain and death and stuff from hell!

That's it for me. I am JR Ryder and this has been the Ryder Insider.

If you wish to buy a copy of UGW TV tapings please send an email to [email protected] or [email protected].

July 8th, 2002

Hello everyone I am JR Ryder and this is another edition of the Ryder Insider.

Well Molloy is back and he is pissed off. He took down both Martin and Cyanide with a baseball bat. I guess Molloy didn't learn from the last time he messed with Martin and Cyanide, he had to be helped out of the ring.

Fuel was not seen at the arena last week, but who could blame him? Cyanide and Martin really fucked him up. Fuel is lucky he can still walk. But is his absence from fear, or is he plotting his revenge?

As you already know CWF and UGW have been at each others throats for awhile now. It may be ready to explode into a wrestling war that has never been seen before!

Mike McSugar is back....GOD HELP US ALL!!!! What was Joe thinking signing him back? I mean the guy only does one, two, maybe three moves, and the rest of the time he talks and talks and talks and talks and does jumping jacks. He is not a wrestler he is a joke.

The Mighty Adam has been in much conflict in the back with the boss, Joe Bates. This is not part of any script, but is a big part of what you will see of Adam's in ring future. Adam has already been fired once publicly, but came back and begged for his job. Adam was lucky Joe has a heart. Although Adam is rehired he won't be seen in the ring for awhile. He was sent to Ontario for training. Joe hopes when Adam comes back he will be able to compete at the level UGW Backyard wrestlers are expected to compete at. This is isn't the CWF, remember that.

RX may not be coming back anytime soon. He has been hired as the new UGW trainer and will be training up and coming new talent. UGW will be getting more talent soon. It will be new fresh and not CWF. RX has the privilege to train the new untapped talent who will hopefully become legends.

DRW wrestles most every weekend at Joe's Place here in Moose Jaw. Now we don't normally advertise when and where other backyard feds wrestle, but every once and awhile you will see great UGW talent wrestle there.

If you are interested in watching some UGW wrestling, we will be at the Wakamow Park Wensday July 10, at about 7:00pm. But it may be sooner, or it may be later, we have a lax schedule. Come out and enjoy the show. Bring a lawn chair, signs, water, the family, and of course mosquito spray. We can't wait to see you there.

If you can't make it to the show and wish to see great UGW action you now can see it in your own home by ordering UGW tapes. Send us your name address and phone number and we will send you info on how to get these videos, their price and what you all get on them. Send all info to [email protected].

This is all for my Ryder Insyder see you at the next UGW Show!

July 13th, 2002

Recently we have all been shocked by the appearance of two more CWF wrestlers, Joe and Kelly in UGW. The first CWF wrestler we saw on a UGW TV program was Skull. All three are big names in the CWF and have gained some respect from the ring skills they showed UGW last Wednesday. Maybe even some contract signing will happen within the next couple months.

Speaking of contract signing, we have big news concerning new UGW talent. There is a possibility of four new members to the UGW, but not all of them will be wrestlers.

Molloy may be finally back to stay in the UGW. He was gone off and on as of late. He had a few issues with the real world, but got them sorted out and is ready to compete full time once again.

Mike McSugar will be okay, not that you should care. He will be back for the next show, but what will he want this time?

Cannabilistic is finally done signing his life over to Joe and shall be new force in the UGW. Cannabilistic has never been a full time wrestler in any fed, but Joe finally convinced him to join full time with the UGW. This is big news and may give Cannabilistic a push towards a title.

Team Hell seems to be back together, but for how long? Cyanide and Martin must learn to work as a team. It doesn't seem to take much to set off their tempers. I can't wait to see one of them screw up in a tag match, because then we will finally see shit hit the fan.

Will King Harv teach Kelly a lesson, or does Harv not see the Killer Kelly as much of a threat?

Many people are wondering what happened to Mike Sledge. He had just sign on with UGW and was given a huge push, he even beat King Harv, but recently he's been M.I.A. Sledge seems to be too busy training for the next Special Olympics. Will he soon be a three time gold medalist? I guess it doesn't matter much now. Sledge fans will have to wait, pray and send Sledge money before he might come back to the Squared Circle.

Fuel is a super hero? More like a super dork. The guy has been on the UGW guestbook talking about eating fibre and pooping, and more pooping. Anyway, it seems Fuel has gone a little loopy up stairs. He may not want to come back till his brain decides to return from it's vacation.

Well not much as happened as of late in the UGW world. But I can still give a inside scoop on what little has been happening.

Wel,l first off the Light-Heavyweight title is now vacant because the Executioner is out of action for awhile thanks to Martin and Cyanide. The Executioner is in the hospital where he is having his back examined for spinal surgery. This is a very serious operation and may end up costing The Executioner his career. We here at UGW send out our best wish to The Executioner and his family and hope that he returns soon to our arena.

Also Mike McSugar has been offered a role in an up incoming movie "The Incredible Hulk," most likely as someone who gets stomped by The Hulk. But it's true, Mike McSugar is long and gone from our ring and hopefully for a long time. We wish Mike the best of luck in Hollywood. We hope you stay there as long as you possibly can. Good thing Mike is to busy talking to read anything.

UGW did have a dark show on monday and we saw the return of Fuel. Fuel is well, he's strange and dressed in what looks like a Halloween costume my kid wore last year. He thinks he is a Super Hero. Yeah I know, I had to look twice too. Well let's not look down on him. Let's just say he's "Special."

Speaking of special people, your Special Olympian, Mike Sledge, has return to the ring as well. He will now be back giving out extreme stomps and Sledge Hammers for everyone that steps in his way. All I have to say is "Here's to you, you lovable Retard!"

The CWF verses UGW feud rages on. UGW interrupted CWF at a few showings and two of our wrestlers have signed with them. The two that signed over there souls were Molloy and King Harv. So now you can see them on both UGW TV and CWF's Crap 'O' Vision.

The Pay per view August Heatwave 2002. Is coming up right away and hopefully this will be better then last Years Heatwave that ended a little early. A few of the matches that have been signed are as follows -

Molloy vs Pope vs Akira - World Title Match.
Joe vs King Harv - Grudge match.
Bo Jack vs Senior Loco vs El Paco Muchacho - Two Title Match Triple Threat.
Kage vs Kamo - Loser is banned from the Light-Heavyweight Title divison.

These are all the matches signed as of now. More match will be signed soon or on the date of August Heatwave 2002. Some of the matches may change.

Now some may wonder about the Two Title Triple Threat match. Well, the rules of the match are as such - Both the Mexican Title and the Light-Heavyweight Title are up for grabs. The Light-Heavyweight Title is the first belt awarded after the first pin fall. Then the Mexican Title is up for grabs. No other wrestlers may come to the ring except for the three contestants untill the Light-Heavyweight title is won. The no rules comes into effect after the Light-Heavyweight title is won. If a rule is broken before the Light-Heavyweight title is won, the wrestler breaking the rules is banned form the ring until the Light-Heavyweight Title is won. If the Mexican Champion is pinned first, then both belts are awarded to the one that pins the Mexican Champion.

Also I would like to inform you of that UGW is back in the beloved UGW Arena! After much construction and planning, the UGW Arena is now ready for the UGW wrestlers and fans to pile in it again. August Heatwave will be the first televised enevt to take place in the UGW Arena since its remodelling.

Another big announcement is that a SCW superstar and fomer MJWF World Champion will be gracing us with his presence as our new colour commentator. His name will be announced at August Heatwave. But most of you can guess who he is. How could you not know?

RX is now done with appearing on UGW TV for awhile as he is now out scouting talent for the UGW's House of Hate training facility. He is scanning the globe for young new backyard talent, both for in and out of ring help. So if you are interested in becoming a backyard legend, look for a man with a red mask in your backyard, or just call 692-2674 and ask for me, JR Ryder.
