Testimony Update 2001

As of the New Year 2001, Peggy my wife has gotten back into doing jail ministry at the local jail here in Henderson, Texas. Her and another lady named Sally go and minister in the local jail for about an hour from 6:30 to 7:30pm every Tuesday evening. They take turns doing a message, sharing, praying, and ministering the Word of God into the women that come out for these meetings.

Pray for Peggy and Sally as they give of their time to share the Gospel with these women.

I also started in doing some ministering to the men at the local jail on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30pm. I do this about once or twice a month. We are starting to introduce some simple Christian choruses at the start of each session. We have a guitar player, and I play the bongo drums.

Pray for this team as we minister in song and the Word

There are inmates that have been accepting the Lord into their lives. We need your prayers for this ministry. Thank You.

P.S. Our marriage gets stronger every day. We are blessed by God with a very good relationship.

Prayer Requests:

1. Sale of our house - 302 Garden Lane, Henderson, Texas

2. Healing for Peggy's numbness in a few of her right hand fingers from a car accident this past Fall 2000.

3. Settlement from the insurance company concerning Peggy's car accident.

4. Bob's Texas Teacher's Certification so he will get better pay.

5. A Band teaching position for the 2001-2002 school year.
