HOPE

John 3:16-21   I was taught and memorized John 3:16 as a child and you probably were also.  It says clearly that those who believe will not perish.
This verse is called "The Gospel in a Nutshell".

John 6:35-40

John 14: 1-3  Mansions, not apartments or rooms.

Romans 8:26-39

The Good News is God loves us.  Jesus died for us.  We are victorious through Christ.  Nothing can separate us from God.  We have been bought with a price, and we are not our own.  We belong to Jesus.  Let's just say I belong to Jesus.

Psalm 95: 1-7

When we worship God and offer thanks to God we affirm our hope in Him. Worship gives hope.  When we read the Word, pray and worship, Hope is restored, renewed, and enlarged.

Psalm 146: 5-10

Did you know that Christians heal faster than those who aren't?
I was reading about people who are going to have surgery.  The night before surgery the people who have hope are more at ease about the surgery then those who do not have a vital living relationship with God.  People without hope clutch and cling to life.  People with hope can relax in the certainty that God has them in His hands, and as a result after surgery the trusting ones usually heal better and even faster.

People of hope have a resource.  People without hope do not.  All they have ever trusted in has been themselves and when in surgery they don't have control anymore.  Though some people trust in the surgeon, the believer trusts God who has the believer in His hand and therfore the surgeon in His hands as well.

There are 95 references to hope in the Old Testament and 85 references in the New Testament.  God placed those references there for all seasons and occasions of life.

1 Cor 13

Hope like love and faith goes deep.  Sometimes we reject the necessity of hope, but hope brings joy and laughter into our lives, The hope of things ahead in God and in our lives that God brings to pass.  We need to grasp unto hope.  Hope is expecting the miracles of God to appear.  Hope is the source of all happiness...none is to be considered a man who does not hope in God.
Without hope we are less than human, less than what we were created to be.
Without hope there is no source of happiness.  "I wait for you O Lord"...then comes the assurance He will answer.  And God does.  Then comes happiness.

Acts 2: 22-28 - Wonderful Joy in your presence

Other scriptures - John 10: 27-29; Psalms 23; Job 8:8-13

Staying hopeful in all circumstances is the key to enjoying every single day of your life.
Hope lifts us above the natural into the spiritual realm where God is
