Unfortunately Michael was unable to use his own bedroom because at this time he was living at my flat and the boy concerned had written a letter to Michael saying he could never return there as it was so untidy. Sadly, neither Michael nor I was blessed with housekeeping skills.
Then Michael goes on to a nightclub where he meets up with all the freaks of London. We see an eclectic mix of fussy clothes, ridiculous hairstyles and too much make-up, but that�s how things were then. The club was meant to be in the West End but it was really the Clarendon in Hammersmith.
Michael had filled in with his friends, who certainly lived up to expectations by getting roaring drunk, sniffing poppers, smashing a mirror in the toilets and stealing the make-up lady�s make-up.. Jeffrey Hinton was the DJ and Princess Julia and I created our heavy rock band The Curse by strumming cardboard guitars.
Michael then arrives home alone as the dawn breaks and gets into bed after dancing to �Are You Lonesome Tonight� by Elvis Presley. A typical day in the life of Michael Clark
