MY REVIEW
The newest and latest release from New Phoenix Filmworks! I must say this latest DVD is IMPRESSIVE! This is a real DVD movie with chapters, behind the scenes, cutting room floor footage, commentary by the cast, crew, and director Andy Rodriguez and other input. I have only good things to say about this latest film. The green screen special effects are really good, editing, casting, location settings, script, concept and camera angles make this dvd really fun. I love the sexy, suggestive flirty one liners as well as the fact Andy is a real comic book fan which is why this works so well. His important attention to detail by using skin tight shiny lycra spandex leotards, catsuits, fishnet pantyhose, closeup angles and key shots mirrors many of the comic books we loved growing up as a kid. That's why Hollywood gets it wrong every time they do a big budget recreation film. They always think bigger explosions and silly unrealistic car chases work but they don't. Comic books are about the sexy babes in sexy costumes. Playful peril, beautiful sexy women in skin tight elastic brought to life is EXACTLY what fans want and this dvd delivers. Not to give too much away, but my favorite scene selection is when Powercat is totally admiring herself in the mirror in her skin tight costume as she parades around her apartment. WOW this scene is HOT! Not to mention the really good comic book artwork enclosed on the DVD Powercat cover hits a homerun! This is REALLY good.
