The weekend after the first days of class was filled with group building activities, which included climbing a ropes course, and going to the Navajo Nations Fair.

David is practicing hooking his harness onto the cable. This was just a few feet of the ground. The real thing, though, is 30 feet of the ground.

Students at the top of the ropes course. The students climbed up the tower and performed different activities, such as walking across a balance beam, climbing around tires, and riding down a zipline.

Dave and Natalie trying to keep their balance as they walk across two wires.

David and Doug moving across the tires, trying to keep them from swinging too much.

After completing the obstacles on the ropes course, the final activity was a ride down the zipline. Here is Mark on his way down.
