The weekend in Santa Fe
Our trip for this week brought us to Santa Fe, the capital city of New Mexico. We traveled around the city, and most of us did quite a bit of shopping. All of us walked around the town at night to see the downtown area, and then slept over night in a hotel. The next morning we were able to see the city in the daytime, which was amazing to see. Most of the houses in the residential areas are built out of adobe, to make it look similar to a pueblo. It is a very nice city, not as large as Albuquerque, but yet has all the things of a big city.
Our trip included touring Acoma/Sky City, the longest inhabited pueblo in the Southwest. We arrived too late at the city to see any of it, but we will try seeing it again in the future.
