These all are synonymous names for only one same bear species. These names are discussed in the beginning of the other paper, which we keep here: The Asiatic Black bear of Primorye. By the way, did you know that a total 8 bear species live on the Earth today? ABB is included in the International List of Endangered Species. But it makes no sence to us, because we never intend to hurt any being, no matter in which list last is included.

Make special emphasis on Shelter and rearing of young! Next: compare that you've learnt about AAB's ecology with what you know about brown bears.

How can people help ABBs to be safer in cold Russian winter times and to bring up their kitten-size cubs in the warmest and safest tree-dens.
We practically deveop different methods of restoration and protection of a moonbear winter tree shelters in the Lazo district of Primorye (see the example of our work here). Though law of our country protects tree-shelters of animals, it is not implemented in practical life. Therefore, we decided to take up roles of bear home-restorators and defenders in our region of corruption and commercial fanaticism. Along with making the hand work, we also educate others to respect all forms of life, including animals and trees. The majority of local adults, addicted to cruelty, take our philosophy with some animosity. Therefore, our main focuse are the local children. Being natural Man's quality, love is so naturally expressed by kids (see here). Not the children, but adults are spoiling our forests and rivers and kill their inhabitants today. Any child, who is grown up by such adults, will slowly, but surely, lose his/her best human qualities, such as love, understanding and compassion. If we want to have safe, happy future, we must protect tender minds of our cildren from commercial, cruel ways of thinking. We must raise at least one generation of kind, responsible persons, who will foster values of our country.
You also can take part in this work. Mail us if you want make direct contribution (new_jalsomino { at} yahoo.com). In fact, you can do a lot even from your location. It is not always possible to work in one narrow direction (such as protecting bear trees destruction), especially if you live far away. But no need for narrowness. You can do a lot, and even much more, by working on a broader scale. For example, you can educate masses of "simple" people, and - through them - even influence politicans and high-rank administrators, and finally bring a lot of good changes. How? By propagating idea of LOVE for ALL. As our teacher - Sathya Sai Baba - says: LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL! HELP EVER, HURT NEVER! Of course, the best (if not the only) method to teach others is our own example. You can do anything for Nature (environment) in your place! Plant indigenuos (native) trees, reduce rabbish, feed hungry wild animals etc. We strongly recommend this article to those who seek to reduce rough ways of using Nature and to establish indeed Paradise-like conditions in a world.
