Ravenous
Directed by Antonia Bird
I love the friggin music in this movie, its so eerie and cool. Kinda like the music in CH, nice but at the same time disgusting.

The movie follows John Boyd, (nice featured on the box cover to you left there), who captured an enemy from behind enemy lines. But what people didn't know was that Boyd faked his death and stayed alive by drinking the blood of his fallen comrades that layed upon him the "death pile".

The General realized that Boyd, acted like a coward by faking his death, that he demoted him to a crap hole of a fort between Nevada and California.

One night a stranger shows up who has been wondering around for the last three months after escaping a deranged General that lead his caravan high into the mountains has a shortcut to california.

After the man has recovered they head out into the mountains to find if anyone else is still alvie on to find out that the man that they found was really the general that killed and ate the people in the caravan.

The man, know has Colquhoun, kills the everyone who accompanied him except for Boyd. Becasue both Colquhoun and Boyd suffer from an age old legend known as Win-digo.

Win-digo basically happens if you eat the flesh of another, you gain their power, their stregth, their essence. It makesd you strong, faster and blood crazy.

Boyd escapes Colquhoun and makes it back to the fort only to discover the Colquhoun is know encharge of it but he's calling himself General Ives.

This is a great movie and its so overlooked at the local video store, mind you, this movie is almost near impossible to find to rent here in Duncan.

I've spent a good year looking for it to buy. This is probably the tamest cannibal movie I've ever seen, but its still awesome.
