This movie had a weird effect on me. I watched it for the second time on Saturday night at my cousins.
I warned him,"This movie is extremely brutal. They kill real animals." He didn't believe me., "Why would anyone kill animals for the sake of making a movie?."
I didn't answer the question, I just turned on the movie and let him watch.
The movie follows a Rescue team into the Amazon, to find a documentery eam that has been missing for weeks. Open enter the jungle they run into The Tree-People who have seen them and ate them.
You see, the Documentery Team was looking for real cannibals, trying to say that they still exist in primtive tribes. Well, they provoked the Tree People by buirning their hutsm raping their women, killing their livestock until the Tree-Peopl gave in and hunted the Documentery team done and killed them.
The rescue team finaly find the footage the Documentery team took in the jungle and take it back to New York to be viewed and pieced together to show what happened back there.
Alot of people hate this movie for the treatment of the animals, Rugerro went to a black martket an bought the animals that were killed in this; 1 Turtle, 1 Pig and 1 Muskrat? Im not to sure what it was.
When I frist viewed this, the turtle scene really got to me, I won't tell you why. And its not because I'm a turtle lover, I could care less about the turtle.
Funny Note; This movie will remind you of a new movie that came out last year that was oh so original........ yeah right!
