The Hills Have Eyes

Directed by: Wes Craven.

Ok, before I tear this movie apart.. Let me just say a few words.

I know this movie is supposed to be deemed as a classic, *BLAH BLAH* I know it's by
Wes Craven *BALH BLAH BLAH* I don't care.... it sucked.
The only thing this movie has, is a realistic feel. But that too brings the movie down becaue it make it feel like a TV movie. *ugh* as far as im concerned...stick to part 2.

The "plot" starts off with a man (retired police chief) and his family. His annoying wife, Nubile young daughter (who me and my girlfriend SWORE they would show'r tits but never did), Her trigger-happy brother and the rest of the cardboard cut-out family consisting of the older brother, his wife, and finally the two dogs "beauty" and "beast" traveling to California. Along the way they plan on stopping at an old silver min for their "silver" anniversary.. They pull over at a run down gas station and meet the typical slasher movie "mysterious old man" that tells the, to stay away from this area and to stick to the main highway... *yadda yadda* (of course if they did that then we wouldn't have a movie no would we) They ignore his heeding and go on. While driving they get lost, run off the road and break an axle. So basically now they're stuck. Now as you probably already guessed, they are stalked upon by the mutant, scavenger, mountain "family"

SO the stranded family must do whatever it takes to stay alive *BLAH*
This is where the movie really goes down hill.. I was halfway entertained up to this point.. from here on seemed like a bad TV survival movie.. The deaths were extremely uninspiring, and although realistic.. very cheesy. I mean what kind of horror movie has the killer use a GUN to off TWO of the people.. when there is a KNIFE laying on the floor ?!?! ...*ugh*

Overall I was extremely disappointed in this movie I've heard so many people call a "classic" .. Sure it has a FEW good scenes..(I cant stress this enough FEW) but otherwise steer clear of this one and rent part two instead.

Lupin-III

Lupin' Death Count

1- scorchin'
2- shootings
1- cliff dive
1- snake bite
1- big boom
1- dog mauling
1- brutal off camera stabbing

Funny things I noticed

(my girlfriend actually noticed this, not me)
The younger brother has a rather large scrape on his right cheeck.. Later on in the movie it shifts to his left cheek and then goes back to the right side after a few scenes.
