A project of this kind can not only be entertaining (hopefully!) for the readers, but also fun for the writers. If like me you are a bit of a scriptwriter and / or a prose writer, you would no doubt have had the urge to write. It is my goal that this website can get your writing skills seen by many people, not only Doctor Who fans, but sci-fi fans in general, and you never know who will cross this site next. I don't wish to tempt fate but one day TV producers are looking for new and exciting writers, they click on this site, see a story and..........Well, as I say, I hate to tempt fate.
Unlike most Websites of this kind I have not published a Writers Guide as originally planned. The primary reason for this is so not to spoil story ideas and character changes to the reader. If you are interested in becoming a regular writer for the series, for whatever reason, whether you are a budding writer, like the idea of being part of a writers team, fancy giving it a go or you're familiar with the world of Doctor Who, please e-mail me for a guide, and give me an idea of how YOU would take the series forward. |
