Site News: HI! I'm back with another
update in less than 1 month! WOOHOO! This time around, I added some pretty
cool stuff. First off, I updated the Comics section. I discovered
that my list was not complete... Well, NOT IT IS! I also updated the Images
section, which is in the Multimedia section. So, what's in there?
You'll find new Fan Art and a page on a REAL BATGIRL COSTUME
in the works by the talented Jeremy Coyler. The About Batgirl section
has also been updated to contain the most up-to-date info about Batgirl.
Finally, it's the grand opening of the FAN FICTION section!!! WOOHOO!
Right now, you'll find 3 amazing stories! Check'em out! Coming Soon:
I am currently working on an page of random images. I have changed my mind
about making a section with Batgirl covers since it's too time consuming.
It's a project I will consider again in the future when I have more time.
The Analysis section will be getting an update since I have received a
bunch of files from an avid fan. I can tell you now that they're very interesting.
Batgirl News: This September
WizKids Games will be releasing a collectible miniature game called DC
HeroClix. Much like the Marvel version, DC HeroClix will have 130 figures
in its first series and will be very easy to play. The heros and villains
in the first series have not all been named, but hopefully there will be
our beloved Batgirl. If not, then she'll probably end up in the second
or third series.

Site News: Hey, everyone! I've
been really busy with university and my job, but now I'm BACK! WOOHOO!
Alright, so here's what I did today: I updated the Comics section
so that the list is now complete. Yup, it's absolutely complete and up
to date, so if you're going around looking for Batgirl comics, check
the list out to make sure you aren't missing anything.
Batgirl News: In Batgirl
#29, coming out in June, the members of the Bat Family try to figure
out what happened Vesper Fairchild by recreating the crime scene. Nightwing
plays the killer and Batgirl plays the victim. In Batgirl #30,
coming out in July, a Roman military cult, whose origins stretch all the
way back to the legions of ancient Rome, is assassinating prominent Gothamites.
Why? That’s what Batgirl aims to find out. But when her investigation leads
her head-on into Connor Hawke, will there be a martial arts dream team-up
or a titanic tussle? In August, Batgirl #31 will follow Batgirl
and Green Arrow Connor Hawke as they try to stop Agrippina and her Roman
Legion cult from killing another of the group’s own members: Jack Drake,
father of Robin!

Site News: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Yup,
it's a new year, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead for our favourite
heroine! Recently, this web site was acknowledged in WIZARD Magazine.
Check out issue 126, page 87. ^_^ Anyway, I've finally updated the Fan
Art section (in Multimedia/Images). I've put up some nice work
from Alexis Millan, Cara Russell, and myself. Plus, I've updated the comics
list in the Comics section. Just scroll down when you're there.
Plus, I've updated the About M. Chan section with some new information
about yours truly. And, that's all for now. ^_~
Batgirl News: Batgirl
#25 will be an extra-sized issue. It's the fight fans have been
clamoring for since issue #8. It's the rematch between Batgirl and Lady
Shiva…to the death! In issue #23, Batgirl trained hard for this…but is
she ready? Who ends up as the #1 martial artist in the DC Universe? How
bad is Cassandra's death wish? In Batgirl #26, after the
shocking events of issue #25 and Batgirl's fight to the death with Lady
Shiva, Cassandra is…well… nobody's sure — is she dead or alive? A fanatical
follower of Shiva is on the streets looking for Batgirl, and the only "Bat-Girl"
Oracle can throw at him now is Spoiler. But is Spoiler up to the task of
battling a member of an elite ninja cult? Find out in March!
November 7th, 2001.
Site News: WOW! I haven't updated
in a while! Well, here I am and the site's as up-to-date as can be. ^_^
What I've done this time is update the comics list and wrote a ton of synopses
in the Comics section. I remember I have a fan fiction somewhere,
but I'll have to find it before putting it on the site. And, that's about
it. ^_~
Batgirl News: Batgirl
#22 has just come out. In this issue, Cain takes control of a nuclear
weapons storage facility. Can Batman stop him before he self-destructs?
And, where do Batgirl's loyalties lie? Next month, Batgirl finally has
her battle with Lady Shiva in Batgirl #23. Who will win?
In January, Batgirl #24 brings you more action as Oracle
dispatches Batgirl to Wayne Manner to investigate an unthinkable crime.
Can our beloved heroine uncover enough proof to clear Bruce Wayne's name,
or will what she find prove to be too shocking?
May 30th, 2001.
Site News: Hey, everyone! Sorry
for the LONG wait! I was swamped with university work for like 2 months,
and then I had finals, which have just ended! Now, I'm in summer school
doing Human Anatomy! Of course, since my workload has decreased considerably,
I'm able to update more regularly! YAY! ^_^ This latest update brings you
a LOT of new synopses in the Comics section. And, that's about it.
I haven't been able to get anything else done yet. But, I'll be working
on them, so stay tuned! ^_^
Batgirl News: Batgirl #17
is coming out in June. Oracle tracks down the government spooks who have
been tracking Batgirl. It will be up to Cassandra to break into their high-tech
security complex and liberate her records. Sound impossible? Well, not
for Batgirl. In July, Batgirl and Robin combine forces in Batgirl
#18 to stop a trigger-happy drug cartel. But what starts as a simple
stakeout will turn into a high-octane shootout with a new super-villain
called Deadeye! Another comic to look for in July is Harley
Quinn #10, which will have a Batgirl appearance. In Batgirl
#19, coming out this August, an oath that "Nobody Dies Tonight
in Gotham" proves tricky as an execution is scheduled at an upstate prison.
Will Batgirl allow a death-row killer to die? The answer may surprise you!
March 8th, 2001.
Site News: Guess what? I UPDATED
AGAIN! Why? Because I found out that DC will be coming out with a Batgirl
lithogram in 4 days! Check out the Merchandise section!
Batgirl News: On March 12th,
2001, DC will release a Batgirl lithogram by Damion Scott and Robert Campanella.
This beauty will be available exclusively at the Warner Bros. Studio Store.
March 8th, 2001.
Site News: Hey, everyone! Wow,
it's been quite a while since I've updated, and I apologize for that. I've
just been SO busy with university work for the last two months! Tests,
assignments, labs... A LOT!!! Anyway, NOW I finally get a bit of time to
update, so here I am! YAY! Anyway, my comics list in the Comics
section is not COMPLETE! I've got most of the new synopses up, and
I've updated the Links section. What links? Well, there's Batgirl3
site, which is the work of a collaboration of Batgirl fans including myself,
and the new Batgirls of Gotham site by Omnius Pathos. THAT GUY IS
GREAT!!! You should also look at the updated About Batgirl and About
M. Chan sections. Last, but not least, I've changed a lot of the 2000's
on my site to 2001... LOL ^_^
Batgirl News: Batgirl #14
just came out this week, along with the Batman: No Man's Land - Volume
5 TP. Batgirl #15 is coming out in a month. Someone's
driving the citizens of Gotham to commit ghastly murders, and it's up to
Batgirl to stop him. But when Batgirl herself falls under the influence
of a mysterious stranger, will she become his latest engine of destruction?
And, in Batgirl #16, when a young boy's father plans to commit
a robbery in order to put food on the table, the boy turns to Batgirl for
help in stopping him. But the crime takes a deadlier turn than expected
-- and Batgirl must decide whether to reestore the boy's family or take
the father down for good.

Site News: Happy New Year, everybody!!!
Yes, it's finally 2001, and it'll be another great year for Batgirl...
and this site! That's right! I'm gonna try to work on the site more than
I did last year! And, today, I've added the synopses for Batgirl
#10, Ghost/Batgirl #3, Batgirl #11,
and Ghost/Batgirl #4. Currently, I'm still working on the
Covers
section I mentioned in the last update. I have not been able to get an
the images of several covers, and I don't have a scanner. But, I'm still
looking around the Internet for them, so it shouldn't be TOO long. ^_^
A friend of mine, Angel Girl, is now the Webmaster of a new Batgirl site,
which I am involved in. She has plans to have a Covers section in that
site, so the Covers section for this site may be the one for that site...
We're not sure yet. But, we do know that the synopses on this site will
be linked to from that site... Yeah, the sites will be pretty connected!
I also wrote the first ever New Batgirl Theme Song!!! All I have
to do now is record it. BUT, I can't seem to find an instrumental version
of the song I'm using. If you have or find the instrumental version of
Cruel
Angel's Thesis from the Japanese Anime Neon Genesis Evangelion,
PLEASE let me know!!! Thanks in advance.
Batgirl News: Well, Batgirl
#12 just came out this week. It's supposed to be part of the "Officer
Down" story line running through the Batman-related comics.
Apparently, Batman is missing, and everyone, including Batgirl (DUH!),
is confused. Next week, Batgirl will appear in Birds of Prey #27,
which will be Part 3 of the "Officer Down" story line. In that issue,
Oracle will gather Batman's allies to capture Catwoman before the cops
do. But, they are led into some kinda trap! Stay tuned, True Belie... WAIT!!!
This isn't Marvel... This is DC!!! Doh!!! ^_^
October 30th, 2000.
Site News: Wow!!! It's definitely
been a LONG time since my last update! Well, I guess that's how it works
when you're in University! Anyway, I've updated, and that's what counts!
And, it's a BIG update, too! First, I've finally opened the Fan Art
section, which is in the Images section of the Multimedia
section. At the moment, only the talented Angel Girl has sent me
something, so that's all that's there. In time, I hope to get more. The
Comics
section got most of the update, with synopses up for every comic since
Batgirl
#7!!! And, that's about it. I'm currently working on a list of merchandise
that are somehow related to Batgirl. Plus, I'm sorting all my cover images
for the Covers section. The next few updates should be quite interesting,
so stay tuned!!!
August 18th, 2000.
Site News: First off, the synopsis
for Batgirl #7 has finally been added. Also, check out the
Note
for Batgirl #1 for information on the new Dynamic Forces
special edition. Lastly, the SOUND CLIP in the About M.
Chan section has been changed. Check it out!!! The Fan Art and
Images
will come in the next update, along with the synopsis of
Batman:
Outlaws #2. Why next time and not this time? Well, I have the flu
right now, so I need to rest. But, worry not! The next update
will
be a good one!!!
Batgirl News: Well, folks,
it looks like writer Scott Peterson has left Batgirl. Batgirl
#7 is the first issue in which he is absent. I haven't heard anything
about a replacement yet, but I'm sure Kelley Puckett can hold up while
Peterson's gone. In Batgirl #8, we will get to see the much-anticipated
battle between Batgirl and Shiva. Who will win? Find out in September.
Plus, there is now a Dynamic Forces special edition Batgirl #1
signed by Robert Campanella. There're only 1500 copies, so pick one up
ASAP! (They're available at www.anotheruniverse.com.)
July 19th, 2000.
Site News: The News section
will now include news on upcoming Batgirl comics and/or merchandise.
The Comics section has been updated with synopses for Batgirl
#6 and Planet DC Annual 2000 - Batgirl. Be on the
look-out for the next update, which will feature Fan Art. Plus,
an Images section is in the works!
Batgirl News: In Batgirl
#7, which is coming out in August, Batgirl's relationship with
Batman will reach a dramatic turning point. Ghost/Batgirl #1,
which is also coming out in August, will be a DC Comics/Dark Horse Comics
cross-over. When innocents killed by Two-Face in Gotham City begin to appear
as zombies in Arcadia, Oracle and Batgirl take a road trip to find out
what's going on. But, Ghost, the self-proclained Sentinel of Arcadia, is
less than thrilled to see them in town, especially since she has her own
reasons for wanting to find the source of the resurrections.
June 29th, 2000.
M. Chan, a.k.a. Speedy Jupiter, was named the #1 Batgirl Fan
by DarkKnight6455 and his friends on the Official Batgirl Forum in the
DC Message Boards. Thanks, guys!
June 24th, 2000.
I've finally updated the About M. Chan section with some more
information about me and a SOUND CLIP! That's right! You can now
hear me speak, so you don't have to figure out what I'm thinking! Sound
familiar? ^_^ In case you didn't know, Batgirl Annual has
come out already. The synopsis will be added soon.
June 17th, 2000.
Well, it's been a long time since I last updated the site, and Batgirl
#5 has come out. Check out the Synopsis. I've also added
the lyrics to a song in the Analysis section. Lastly, I've made
a correction to the ReadMe file for the Cassandra Skin in the Multimedia
section.
May 25th, 2000.
I opened the Multimedia section, which now features a Cassandra
skin for The Sims. Oh, and good luck to Michael J. Fox
in fighting Parkinson's Disease. We'll miss ya, man! (For those of you
who missed the season finale of Spin City, I'll just let you know
that it was a tear-jerker! Oh, and you can help Michael out by visiting
his site.)
May 11th, 2000.
I finally opened the Analysis section. My first analysis is
on Batgirl's costume.
May 6th, 2000.
I updated the Comics section, correcting the list and adding
a description for every comic on the list. Yes, it's true. I now
have a synopsis for every comic on the list. Check the out!
May 5th, 2000.
I updated the comics list and added some new descriptions. The
Links
section was added as well. I now have major plans for the
Comics
section, and the first Batgirl fan fiction will be out soon.
May 4th, 2000.
I changed the small Batgirl picture on the index page since the one
I had was of Huntress as Batgirl. I also update the comics list
and corrected the information on Batgirl's first appearance.
May 1st, 2000.
I gave the Comics section a new look, and started a list of
all comics in which Batgirl appeared. I am currently trying to figure out
the titles and publication dates of the comics Batgirl appeared in before
she got her own series. The Table of Contents on the index page
got some re-making, and I added this News section. Lastly, I re-wrote
some of the stuff on the information page about myself, and changed the
picture on the section about Batgirl. (Also, notice the cool little DC
logos at the bottom of each page. ^_^)
April 7th, 2000.
This web site was created. It is the first site on the Internet
dedicated to the new Batgirl.
