Synopsis: Oh, my God! A rat falls from the sky and goes SPLAT on the pavement! EEEEEW! We find that some kids are playing some disgusting game when they throw a rat into the sky and see where it lands! GROSS! The next rat they throw, though, never makes it to the pavement… because Batgirl caught it! YAY! No more animal brutality! One kid, Tim, stays behind and asks Batgirl to help his since his dad may be robbing some place that night. Later that night, some thugs are robbing the Gotham Federal Bank. They talk about what they’re gonna do with all the money they make. One guy looks very afraid. Suddenly, a police officer bursts in, only to meet a bullet to the chest. The sacred guy was the one who fired the shot. The gang’s leader, Chaco, appears, and the thugs start moving the money out of the bank. Unfortunately, one thug gets greedy, and Chaco’s gift to him is a bullet through the skull. ACK! How much more gore in this issue?! Anyway, the scared man decides to run, but is cornered by the other thugs, who Chaco had ordered to kill him. Just as the gun is about to fire, Batgirl saves the day. After beating up the thugs, she tells the scared man to go, but he doesn’t want to since he needs to pay for killing the officer. When she asks him about his son, Tim, he is confused, since Tim is CHACO’S son!!! Inside, Batgirl beats Chaco up for Tim’s sake. As he is being arrested, Tim asks Batgirl if his dad is a bad man. She answers that he is, but that Tim is not.
