Price: $2.50 US, $4.25 CAN
Synopsis: The comic opens with some important man getting to
work. His secretary is a good worker. In his office, the man, Tom, watches
a video of Cassandra beating up his men. The analysis says that she’s amazingly
good. John, a scientist, bursts into the office thinking that Cassandra
is a joke. Apparently, nothing about her makes sense, and there are NO
records of her. We then go back to the station at the end of the last issue,
where Cassandra is saying goodbye to the man she saved. He’s sad he will
never see his family again. After he leaves, Cassandra returns to the Clock
Tower (Oracle’s apartment). Oracle is upset since Cassandra had beaten
up government agents without a costume, and warns that now Cassandra can
never have any other identity than Batgirl. It’s then that Cassandra decides
to embrace her role as Batgirl completely. That night, Batman visits her
and they go to a shack where some thugs are playing cards. Apparently,
the man Cassandra had saved made a call which was traced, and the thugs
in the shack were the ones who had killed him. Batman then allows Cassandra
to take out the trash without her costume. After that, Batman drives her
to a new Batcave… HER Batcave.
