Price: $2.50 US, $3.95 CAN
Synopsis: Batgirl is fully healed now, but her fighting skills have not improved at all. Batman lets her know that if she works hard enough, she would be ready for the costume in a year. But, to get back to the way she was before losing her abilities would take ten or more years. At Oracle’s apartment, Batgirl asks Oracle to send a message. In China, Batman visits Cain once again to watch Batgirl’s childhood training films. Back in Gotham, night has settled in and Batgirl and Shiva meet on a rooftop. Shiva immediately kicks Batgirl in the face. Meanwhile, Batman watches a video of film of Cain shooting Batgirl in the shoulder to motivate her. Cain wakes up and explains to Batman that Batgirl was his only success. On the Gotham rooftop, Shiva continues to beat the stuffing out of Batgirl, but finally stops to convey her disappointment since she thinks Batgirl is holding back. Batgirl explains that she came to ask her to train her. In the end, Batgirl agrees to Shiva’s terms, which is to fight to the death in one year. Time passes, and there is obvious improvement as we see a bruise on Batman’s face while he and Batgirl are sparring. There is a little humour when Batman and Batgirl try to hide their embarrassment from being hit by each other. Batgirl tells Batman that she thinks she is finally ready for the costume, and the two go at it. She is able to dodge all of Batman’s moves, and does indeed get the costume back. YAHOO!!!
