Matt "The Asian Sensation" Ferreira

   My name's Matt, I'm 19, and I've been playing bass in this band for 4 years now. I'm currently a sophomore at RWU, but I'm probably gonna drop out or at least transfer soon for the sake of staying sane.
     I live in New Bedford, which is an interesting experience- you see some strange and intriguing things growing up here. A lot of people rank on it but it's home and it's made me whatever I am today.
     I grew up a fan of a variety of different music, which has enabled me to befreind a variety of different people. People connect through common interests, and I've found this is especially true for common interests in music. God only knows how many freindships start each day because two people discover they're both huge Beatles fans, or they were both at Ozzfest one year, they both hate 50 Cent, etc. etc. Music can provide worlds of conversation.
