Upon the shore,
Watching the sun,
Set over the sea.
I listen to the wind
Howling around me,
And hear the music,
Floating in on the breeze.
I feel the sand
Beneath my feet
Warmed by the suns
Gentle rays.
I watch the tide
Come rolling in,
As the gulls
Fly overhead.
I sit right here
Waiting for you
Waiting for a sign
That you are here too.
Listening to the wind
And that music on the breeze
And the sound of your voice
A simple melody.
