Mixing Literature and Internet Together

There are all sorts of literary works nowadays, when technologies have being improved greatly; a new kind of literary form showing up and reminding us that the variety of literature is far from what we thought.

  When people think of literature, they will probably imagine that it’s proper from or accurate type which they will see, but hypertext literature is not quite like that. Hypertext literature mixing literal language together with java, flash, or other internet works; it makes us reader feeling we’ve involved in the works, and related to it. Readers can have more interactions with the author, and can come closer to the works. What we think about books can’t be transferred to what we see in the hypertext literature. Through the internet, we may see lots of lively changes in literature. Sentences here may be transferred into movable pictures or astounding sounds. Literary form like this being more concrete to its readers compared to others.

  Hypertext literature can be performed by sounds or visions, it is very different from what we usually seeing. The setting of type can be changed vividly through the computer. For example, authors may let their works changed by color, font, picture, or flash. Every setting of the works can be a kind of art, and it is also a very new kind of the art. The sounds what we can hear from the page must be part of the work too, because authors may put a variety of sounds to present their ideas.

  I enjoy the visual part of hypertext literature very much. I supposed that I would see it nothing different from the common books, but I was wrong. The vivid part of the work is not that easy can others surpass. With the enjoyments of the vision, listening, and even interaction with the works, readers can be closer to what authors tried to present, and can understand about their real emotions.
