NEW SITE DESIGN... DUH

Our apologies for the lack of updating lately. We've had a mixed last few months. First, we must formally announce the departure of our good friend and guitarist Russell Hayden from the band. The split is completely amicable, there are absolutely no hard feelings whatsoever. Russ is a great person and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. So, with that said, we must announce also that we are NOT broken up, nor do we plan on it any time soon. We are indeed now looking for a new second guitar player. If you are of decent ability with decent equipment, have a flexible schedule (i.e. can play a fair number of shows and do tour stints), a positive attitude, and your own transportation, then feel free to email [email protected] We will be trying out people hopefully starting the week of the 23rd. So, please get in contact with us fast...Next, we've spent the last few months writing music, and have written what we feel is our strongest material to date. We're very close to completion of the musical end of our first full length, so we hope to enter the studio within the next few months to record that. Also, in the next few months we intend to release a split 7" record with an as of yet undetermined band. We hope that TBA band will be Milwaukee's own Blackwall Hitch, but that remains tentative. Be on the lookout for that record. If it happens, it will be amazing! ^_^...In nerd news, a new site design is in the works. We have seen a preliminary run of the site and it's quite fantastic. Much thanks goes to the friend of Mark who is designing the site for us (sorry I don't know your name!). We'll notify everyone when we make the change over to the new site... Finally, we will have new merch very, very soon. T-shirts will hopefully be available at our show in Madison on December 6th (yes, we're still playing!), and new stickers and pins will soon follow. Save up your Rupels and Deutsch marks, bring them to our show, and buy stuff while you still can! :)...Anyway, that's about it for new things in the works. NFNF is still going hard and strong. Our new lineup is a dream come true. We've spent the last two months showing Mark our old material, and working on some new stuff as well! ^_^ We also played a few shows in there too. Thanks a lot to all the kids and bands who made those possible. You have our infinite love and respect. We have a new site design in the works, be on the lookout for that soon. We're finally getting some more merchandise made in the next few weeks. We'll have more stickers and buttons, t-shirts, and maybe patches depending on how it all works out. Right now we're also working on some other aspects of the band, including working out details on an upcoming full length we hope to record sometime before the years end. Keep it here for info as it becomes available. Also, make sure to download our 2 newest recorded tracks in the music section of the site. We're currently considering releasing those two songs on a 7 inch recording somewhere sometime, but are looking for a band to do the split with.
