Hails I am Chas (Necromodeus666) Bass player and disturbing shrieks from Summon. Well summon just got done with a new album entitled And The Blood Runs Black, We are currently getting ready to tour the West coast in April
2.Can you explain why did you formed SUMMON ? is there any special message or aggression that you wanna express through its music
Well we formed Summon in early 91' we wanted to play heavy death metal in the beginning and then got more into the Black metal scene, We wanted to be just brutal as fuck and very aggressive(still to date)
3.By the way, who picked the name SUMMON ? where did he got the idea ?
Xaphan Came up with the name Summon I think he thought of it as like to Summon the devil!
4.Who wrote the lyrics ? what are the lyrical inspirations ?
Xaphan writes the lyrics He is insipid by dreams and thoughts that sick fuck thinks about mostly it is about the Abyss and all mighty Lucifer! ( he gets alot of ideas from books and pictures)
5.Can you inform us about BLACKENED MOON Production ?
Well Blackened MOON is finally getting going, the label started in the earl 90's but did not do much now I have a huge distr. and a few release. Corpsevomit from Chicago, New to the roster are Empty from Spain great black Metal, and Sacred Sin from Portugal, I have future plans with a band called Cryfemal from Spain also, but as you know all other Summon CDs released through Blackened Moon except the new on And the Blood Runs Black which is through Moribund Records!
6.While many black/death bands are putting the "catchy" parts inside their song structure,
SUMMON music becoming much more merciless, aggressive, raw and blast every weak mind and souls. How can you maintain to keep playing that way ?
Well we have a hyper fucking drummer Josh Moore that kid is fucking so fast, we write slow shit that ends up extremely blistering. We would rather be fast and aggressive than to play get up riffs. I don't think we will not slow down for a while it is just how we like to play we will leave that shit to the gore and death metal bands.
7.What do you think of those black/death bands with all their theatricals & orchestra performance ? Do you into those bands ? you know like C.O.F, Dimmu Borgir, Children Of Bodom, etc.
I am not into the those bands at all they are good musicians though but you should let the music speak for it self I think those bands are played out cause they look the way they do it looks better on a cover of a magazine I guess.
8.Can you inform us your influences ? Also what have you been listening to lately ?
I am listening to a lot of Black metal from Europe Satanic and fast shit, that is what I am really into, Our influences are old Bathory, Venom. Blasphemy old Beherit (Rip) I have really got into Arkon Infaustas reminds me of old Blasphemy

8.In your opinion. What black/death metal bands must have inside their songs structures and inside their personality ?
Not sure who I could say that there personality and music was together except maybe Gehenna King of the Side walk drunk fucks that is killer shit.
9.Have you ever heard bands like SLIPKNOT, Mushroom head, Korn, Limp bizkit, deftones, dry kill logic, etc ? do you consider them as metal bands ?
Hip Hop bullshit I hate that shit I haven't ever heard a whole album any of them maybe they are good i don't know I don't think any of these would ever be my choice to pop in the stereo haven't heard all of them I will just keep it that way!
What is you opinion about this Nu metal genre thesedays ?
New metal blows like an old whore(Not much to it)when it is over it is over that shit won't last for to much longer half of the people in those bands look like they should be in little boy or girl bands there is nothing to the music two or three riffs and the same lyrics over and over but that is what you get for retards most people don't listen to black or death metal cause they can't understand the lyrics. Clean the shit out of your ears and maybe read some of the words it is not that hard to follow, The world just lazy if it sang to you buy some crying little faggot people love that shit nevr made the connection?
10.Have you ever records a cover song ? like what ? if you have not, do you have plan about covers some songs ? for what bands ?
We covered old Beherit back in the day we did Death Crush from Mayhem on the new album we did buried alive from Venom, we also did a death Song left to die I thought that would be cool since James Murphy recorded the album to do it is not released on anything yet. Future covers not sure what we will do
11.Tell us about your local scene ? do you play often in you area ? what is your most memorable / brutal show ?
We don't really have a scene here we mostly play out of state, all though we played a party in Hastings once where there was like 20 chicks throwing there tops off ( well we had to give them shirts) We play as much as we can in the area, there arn't to many places we can play around here.
12.Beside the band, what do you and other members do ?
Well I work construction and run Blackened MOON Josh also works construction and Xaphan is a tattoo artis bad as fuck!!!

· POSERS : wish you had a real band (dudes look like bitches)
· Death Metal : Love it faster the better
· Black metal : Love it if it is done right (not copying every band) has to be satanic
· Trendy people or trendy metal : The world, FUCK OFF you suck
14.How serious you’ve take the black/death metal elements into your everyday life ?
Well I have been doing this shit for like 13 years pretty serious shit
Do you think black/death metal is just a music or what ?
I think it just music, people really don't live what the music is about oh wait unless you are a rapist,serial killer. unless you are just a fucking sicko like most of us are.
15.Beside extreme music, what do you guys are into ? porn maybe ? gore ? horror ? computers ? book ? historical agriculture ? Satanism ? paganism ? or what ?
I am into Satanism,porn, fuck who isn'? movies, I snow board as much as possible go and see shows
