Whass up ? Please tell us about the band…FUNERAL INCEPTION, who choose this name ? why ?

I want to bury all the sick and insane memories with Bloody Gore !  And Funeral Inception is just the right way to put Bloody Gore to its grave. 

Some people may not know that most of you were in BLOODY GORE, can you please tell us what happenend with BLOODY GORE, Why did you form FUNERAL INCEPTION ? How about the rest of the former member, what they do now ?

  Bloody Gore is Dead ! I want to leave the 60's style death metal with the existence of Funeral Inception. Me and Mythos formed this band just want to inject something new to our death metal style. Intense ! More Intense and extremely intense ! Thats all !

Please describe us the concept of your musick …..who is responsible for the lyrics ?…..and where did he got the inspirations ?

  Our concept is way much more heavier than our previous band ( Bloody Gore - Ed. ). And we want our music to be extremely Metal ! The vocalist ( dony ) is responsible for the lyrics.  ( Hey what about the inspirations ? - Ed. )

What do you gonna do with  FUNERAL INCEPTION ? What have you done or achieved so far ?

Very different with our old band, we're gonna make hundreds of merchandise and also we're gonna release our album in cassette format under our own label : ROTTREVORE Records.  And we have done a deal with WARPATH Records ( France ) to handle all of distribution worldwide and Warpath also handle the full service of all the promotional matters i.e.: merchandise, ads, etc.

Please tell us about your debut album….. where did you record it ?… Do you satisfy with the results ?   Is there any label interested yet ?

  Yeah !  I think this is the most METAL album that i've ever made in my musical history... Total Grinding !!! It was recorded at Palu studio in Jakarta around  June 27 - 31, 2002. The mastering took place in Zabriek studio, mastered by Ronnie. Then Warpath re-remastered in Wimp Sound ( Germany ). Yeah !  they agree to press & release'em in CD format.

Tell us about your most influences and what have been you listening to lately…

  Suffocation is what i've been listening to lately. SADISTIS, TOTAL RUSAK, SIKSA KUBUR, JASAD, they're all the Indonesian most insane & brutal death metal bands for this time !!!

Describe with your own opinion about the word “ Death Metal “, How serious the death metal musick affected in  your real life ?

  Death Metal is our blood and soul. I was born, live and gonna die in death metal scene. because we're all love death metal with all our hearts !

What’s your opinion about the Nu metal bands ? Like Slipknot, soulfly ( They’re nothing comparing to SEPULTURA ! ), Linkin Park, P.O.D., static X, Korn, etc ?  They surely NOT having the “ underground death metal idealism “  ( i.e. : performing trendy music, etc. ) reflecting in their life, and they performing loud and fast metal music, in this case, do you  still consider’em as METAL ?

Nu Metal ?!?!  I just can say that death metal is the most deadly genre compare to all of music that i've ever heard !   We refuse listening to " SOFT " music such as New Metal !  Sorry....  we're close minded !

How is the music scene in your local area ? Got a big death metal scene ? do you plays often in your local area ?

  Good and growing sicker ! Death metal have a big scene here.  As for black metal is also have big scene too also big bullshit / lies too !!! For now we just like to spend our leisure time with the guys from Sadistis and Siksa Kubur, talked about everydays' bullshits, smokin pot, and our favorite : Vouodu SANDRISE !!! 

Can you inform us some good death metal bands in Indonesia that you think is really cool to check out because they’ve got their own death metal style ? please explain…

  SUFFOCATION, DEICIDE, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MONSTROSITY, VADER.

  I don't like the kind of porno which always exploiting girls ( What else then ??? - Ed. ). Sorry !  Hemp is the best for us !
