(And may Baby Transit add that Scary now knows a hell of a lot more about Blur... maybe too much... in a charming way... and a hell of a lot more about The Who... but she still doesn't know a lot of chords that aren't at the top of the neck).
Graham Leslie Coxon was born in a military hospital in a town in Germany of which I've never heard. Apparently his dad was in the military, but he's also a musician, cuz he later taught Dave drumming stuff. Graham plays the drums too. He used to have a kit in his room. I wonder if he played drums or guitar first. Apparently, he had a Keith Moon fixation, who was a drummer, I think. But I don't think he ever had a Dave fixation- I know he's a drummer. But I personally am glad Graham plays guitar now. He started playing when he was twelve and taught himself, and he knows lots of chords that aren't at the top of the neck. I took guitar lessons for a few months when I was eighteen, but I don't know many chords that aren't at the top of the neck. My guitar teacher says if you play all chords at the top of the neck it sounds like a campfire song. Graham's playing never sounds like that. Graham has a sister named Haley who's a nurse. My friends Melinda and Lauren are both in nursing school, I'm pretty sure they don't know Haley though. Graham also went to school and was in bands with Damon. They were music geeks, just like me. Graham isn't crazy about being so famous. But, he sure likes music. I hear he even has a recording studio in his attic and he is starting a record company. Which is good, as long as he keeps playing the guitar, cuz he's quite good at it. Sometimes he sings too... but he only sings solos live when I'm not there... in fact, he sings back-up vocals in Blur. Once, when he was a teenager, he was on TV in "Blue Peter". He was also in an opera chorus in a show his school did with the Royal Opera. Cool. Since then he has been hit by cars two times. He looks really cute after he's been hit by a car, but I still feel bad that people took pictures of it. He's full of surprises, that Graham. But that's why we love him. (That and his glasses).
