I was born St Patricks day March 17th 1959
Before I joined L.A. Guns I was a Drummer and I played for several Punk and trash bands in L.A. in early 80's. Among them were The Mau Maus and The Joneses. Nicky "beat" Alexander(the orrigional LAG drummer) and I use to be rivals and replaced each other frequently in some of these bands. In 1985 Mick Cripps and I put together L.A.Guns and got Nickey to play drums. I switched to vocals. We had Tracii Guns on guitar as well. L.A.Guns was a mainly an outlet for me as a songwriter and I wrote many of the songs which apeared on the 1st. 2 albums however, I was never credited.There is an album (L.A.Guns "Black City Breakdown")Available with the origional versions of those songs Check out www.Blackcitymusic.com/laguns After I left L.A. However the band remain unsigned do to the unfortunate law suit which occured with Polygram and the band when I tried to recover my songs. Their will soon be a Black Cherry Record Available also at the same site.
I am currently playing in band called Sonic Boom with Jo "DAWG" Almeida from Dog D'Amour on guitar.We have a Limited Edition 6 song EP available "Out Of The Blues"(also at blackcitymusic.com) other than that I played Drums on The Joneses "Keep Up With The Joneses Album on Dr. Dream records and several punk albums.I dont know where to find them though.
