"I want you happy," Emertx looked up at them. She could tell Beth meant it but she hated that Jeff was leaving. "When I'm with you I am happy. Ok back to the talk we were having Emertx. Vince is moving you to Smackdown so you will be with your dad and Matt." "Ok Jeff." "To night is my last match so let's go kick some ass." "Ok Jeff but don't you want Beth to come?" "No I want her to stay right here." "Ok baby I will." Jeff and Emertx went out and won their match. Once they got to the back Emertx walked Jeff and Beth to Jeff's car. Jeff and Emertx said could by and Emertx watched crying as her bestfriend drove off. She was not sure when or if she would ever see him again. ~*1 year later*~ Emertx had gone back to Raw with Matt and Lita when they jumped ship from Smackdown. Something was still not right though. The stupid writers had broken them up and Emertx was surposed to hate Matt now but overtime Emertx had to go out and yell at Matt she had to bit her tongue to keep from laughing. It was hard because all she saw was the soulmates that she had seen since the day she meet them. Tonight Matt was gonna call her out and let Jazz jump her. Emertx looked up at the monitor and saw Matt in the ring so she walked to the curtain. "Emertx get out here. I want to talk to you." Emertx's music started blaring as her pyro explode. She walked to the ring and stood in front of Matt. "Ok the talk." "Jeff is not here to protect you anymore," Emertx's eyes got wide. Matt had not warned her about that cheap shot. "Well if Jeff was here he would kick your ass for what you did to Lita. He would knock some since into you. Matt these people hate you they miss the Matt Hardy who was part of Team Xtreme." "Well he is gone." "Matt you can't align yourself with Bischoff. Take it from me I have done it. He gets what he wants then leaves you high and dry." "Like you and Jeff did me when Lita was hurt?" Matt was about to say something when a familiar music and titiontron started. "This isn't part of the plan," Emertx thought. Matt looked around as the crowd came to their feet. After a minute the music stopped. Matt looked down at Emertx. "What the hell ya trying to pull? He is not coming back! You can't just play his music and have him appear Em." "I didn't do it." "Jazz finish her." Before Jazz could move the music started again. This time Jazz took off up the ramp. Matt looked around, down at Emertx and then at the ramp. "Hey bro." Matt turned and saw Jeff standing in standing in front of Emertx. "Ummmmmm hi....this isn't what it looks like." "Oh ok Matt so ya didn't break Lita's heart, get her fired, slam a cage door on her head, and now let Jazz beat the shit out of Em?" Matt looked down. "When I left you said you would take care of them." "But Jeff, Bischoff can make me a star." "Matt you were a star and Bischoff is not gonna be around long. You broke the love of your life's heart and let the person you call your little sister get beat up by Jazz!" Matt watched as Lita came out to help Emertx. As she was getting up Emertx laughed. "What?" Jeff asked her "Oh I just remembered one of my favorite songs. You lost it all nothing lasts forever." Jeff laughed. "Only you Em would came up with that after getting beat up." Matt was starring at Lita. "Lita, I am sorry I hurt you. Jeff is right you are my true love. Em I am sorry to you too and your right Jeff should kick my ass cuz I have been a real ass. He started to get out of the ring. "I love you too Matt." Matt stopped and turned to her. "And I forgive you one condition," Emertx said leaning on Jeff. "Ok..." "Lose the boss man. Ya don' need him with what I have planed," "Deal." "I came back and in one night everything is back to normal." Jeff laughed. "Lita can you forgive me?" "Yes Matt....but I am gonna kick your ass." "It's only fair." Matt said. "GET OUT OF MY RING!!" Bischoff cam running down. "No one rehired you." He said pointing to Jeff. "Your new co-gm just did," Emertx smiled. "What who?!" "ME! And I say he stays." "I am calling Linda." "Go ahead. It was Shane's idea and his mom agreed. Ya know I will get out of MY ring. I have a contract to write up. Oh yeah Eric so ya know we are not 50/50 partners... I have 60 you have 40." With that the newly formed Team Xtreme left. As soon as they walked into the back Emertx hugged Jeff then hit him. "OW! What was that for?" "Why didn't ya tell me?" "Sorry I told Matt and Amy not to." "Hey Em you did good for being shocked out there." "Thanks Eric." "Bro, Amy and I will meet you and Em for dinner at 10:00 ok? I still have my match." "Ok come on Em." Jeff and Emertx walked away. Emertx looked back and saw Matt and Amy kissing. The two of them walked to Emertx's locker room. "So are ya back for good?" "Yep." "Cool. I am glad ya are back. How is Beth?" "She is good. Not much different then at the wedding 2 months ago." "So what's it like being married?" "I love it and her." Emertx smiled. "Ok down to business. We just started the team X angle up. Matt and Amy have their storyline. We need a line for ya. We can't restart yours with Trish cuz of her story going with Chris." "Yeah the fans are giving that line a lot of heat." "I bet Beth doesn't want ya to start a love story." "She is ok with it depending on who it is. She never minded Trish or you." "Ok. Since Chris has a love angle going he wont mind me starting one." "Huh?" "Oh... Yeah I guess no one told ya. Chris and I are dating." "Well Y2J is one lucky guy." "Well thank you Mr. Hardy." �Hey Hardy you are married stop going after my girl." "Hey Chris." "Hey baby ya need something?" "Any time baby girl." Chris kissed her. "Chris you want to come to dinner with Jeff, Matt, Amy, and I?" "I would but I am wiped out. So I will go back to the hotel." "Ok I will go with ya." "No baby. They walked out of Emertx's locker room and went to Matt's. "Hey guyz," Amy said. "Matt will be ready in a minute." "Ok," Jeff said sitting down. "So Em why didn't ya tell me ya and Chris are going out?" "They are?!" "Yeah we are." "Since when?" "2months. Only a few people know." "Why didn't ya tell me?" "I don't know. We decided to play it by ear. We didn't tell but if someone found out we didn't care. It is our life and I didn't want a big deal about it." "Oh ok. Why doesn't he join us tonight?" "He went back to the hotel. He was wiped." "Oh." Matt walked out of the bathroom. "Ya guyz ready?" "Yeah." Emertx said. "Matt we just found out Emertx is dating Chris." "Cool Em.� "So are we gonna go get food or stand here and talk bout my love life?" "Let�s go before Em decides to go join Chris," Jeff said walking out of the room followed by the others. |
