How did he know he name? �Sure.� She said as Brittany walked away. �How do you know my name?� He handed her a picture with a note. Maggie looked down and saw a picture of her, Kane, and Brittany. It was the one they had given Kane. She looked at the note. �Mark, I heard them talking about going to a concert on Saturday. I think the one with blue streaks is Maggie. It has do be. She gave the other girl a look and she looked just like you. I didn�t want to say anything to her about it but you should go and see if it is her. I think you said she just had her 18th birthday. If you wait to long you will lose you chance. Hope it is her. I know you miss her. Glen.� �How did he know me?� �I have been looking for you since you were one. I told every wrestler to be on the look out because I thought that wrestling was in your blood. It had to be.� �But why were you looking for me?� �Your mother took off with you when I was on the road. I came home and she was gone so were you. I called everyone but no one knew where you were. I knew she wanted to leave me but I never thought she would take you from me.� Maggie just looked at him. �Mag. Come on the show is gonna start in like two minutes.� Brittany said as she ran over and started pulling her. �I will talk to you more later.� �But�� �Go.� Maggie walked with over with Brittany to the stage. �What did he want?� �Brittany I think maybe you were right about my dad. Talk after the show.� Benji pushed Joel then looked at Maggie. He followed her gaze to Mark who was on his cell. �Is he bothering you?� �Huh?� Maggie said coming out of her trance and looked at Benji. �Oh no just thinking and letting the bomb shell sink in.� �Ok. We will see you girls after the show.� Both girls nodded as the boys walked on stage. Maggie felt someone behind her. She knew who it was and was not scarred. �I will be back a little later. I have to go find a hotel room.� �Since we need to talk you can stay at my place.� �Thanks honey.� Brittany and Maggie were laughing as Benji and Joel started to argue on stage. Mark said he would be back a little later. "Mag this is so cool." "I know!" They both started to sing along with The Anthem. After the show they were gonna try to hang out and meet the band. The guys from GC walked off stage and while Billy, Paul, and Chris went to the dressing room Benji and Joel walked over to Brittany and Maggie. "Hi." Benji said looking at them. They both looked at each other with wide eyes. "Umm Britt is it me or are Benji and Joel standing in front of us right now?" She whispered. "Yeah they are." "Hey," Maggie said elbowing Brittany so she would let go of her arm. "Did you girls like the show?" Maggie looked at both guys in front of her and saw that Joel had not taken his eyes off Brittany. She just smiled because Brittany was looking at him too "Yeah we did." Maggie said. She looked around and saw that Mark was back. "Glad to hear it." When Maggie looked back at Benji he gestured for her to come with him. "Since my brother looks to really like your friend," he started and the both laughed to see Brittany and Joel were still just standing there and had not moved or stopped staring. �I wanted to know if you two would like to come to dinner with us?" "Yeah. Sure. Ummmmmmm let me get her and then tell the umm I don't know what to call him yet. But let me give him my key and let him go to my house and we will go." "Who?" He followed her gaze to where Mark was on his cell phone again. "Do ya know him?" "From wrestling but I think there is more to the story. Give us 10 minutes and we will be ready." "Ok." Maggie walked over and got Brittany then went to Mark. "Benji asked if we would go to dinner with him and the others. Here is the key to my apartment." She told him how to get there then her and Brittany walked back to where Benji said to wait. "Are you sure ya should trust him?" "No. But I have gone this long with following my heart why stop now?" "You guys ready?" "Yeah," Brittany said smiling at Joel. "Let's go." "The others went to go hang out at some club then go to the hotel so it is just goin to be the four of us," Benji said. "Is that ok?" "Sure. Right Britt?" "Yep." "Ok we will take a cab cuz all we have is...." "Or we can take my car." "That works too." Benji laughed. They all got into Maggie's car. Joel and Brittany sat in the back since Maggie was driving. "So do you girls believe in love at first site?" "I do but Britt doesn't. What about you guyz?" "Yeah." Joel said looking over at Brittany. "So were are we going? I need to know before I have to drive in around lost." They all laughed. "How bout Applebees?" "Ok Britt. Is that ok with you two?" "Sure," They said at the same time. |
