Rating: PG-13 Well I'll never forget the first time that I heard that pretty mouth say that dirty word And I can't even remember now what she backed my truck into but she covered her mouth and her face got red and she just looked so darn cute �Ok put it in reverse.� Emertx moved the gearshift in the reverse then looked at Jeff. �Now let off the break slowly and look behind you.� This was the first time Emertx had tried to drive his truck and she didn�t know what to do. He felt the little movement and knew she had hit something. �Shit!� Emertx eyes got wide. She had never cussed in front off Jeff. She lowered her head and put her hands over her mouth. That I couldn't Even act like I was mad Yeah I live for little moments like that �It�s ok baby girl. Don�t worry about it.� Jeff smiled at her as he pulled her head up. When she was looking at him he kissed her. Emertx smiled and hugged him. �Thanks Jeffy.� �No problem babe. Let�s go back home.� Jeff and her changed places and he started to drive back. Emertx put her head on his shoulder. Jeff always smiled around her. That's like just last year on my birthday She lost all track of time and burnt the cake And every smoke detector in the house was going off And she was just about to cry until I took her in my arms *Bang* *Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep* �Emertx are ya ok?� �Yeah Amy I just burnt dinner and the cake.� �Ok Em, Matt and I will go pick up some dinner and a cake. Don�t worry.� �Thanks Amy.� Emertx threw the dishes on the counter and sat down at the table. Jeff waslked in and smiled at her. �Get over here.� He took her hand and pulled her over to him. Emertx smiled at him. �I love you.� �I love you too.� And I tried not To let her see me laugh Yeah I live for little moments like that Emertx smacked him. �It is not funny I wanted it to be prefect for you.� �Baby you�re with me. It is perfect.� Jeff sat her on his lap. �Mean it?� �Every word.� Emertx laughed a little and smiled. �Oh so you can laugh but I can�t?� �Yup!� She said her country accent coming through. He brushed her blond hair out of her face and looked into her blue eyes before he kissed her. �Ok that is fine.� �Happy birthday Jeff.� �Thanks baby.� I know she's not perfect but she tries so hard for me And I thank God that she isn't cause how boring would that be It's the little imperfections It's the sudden change of plans when she misreads the directions and we're lost but holding hands Yeah I live for little moments like that �She got you guys lost?� Matt asked. �Yeah,� Jeff laughed. �But ya know what? She makes life fun. Never a dull moment.� �Yeah.� �What would we do if the two of them were prefect?� �Miss what we have now.� Matt looked over at where Emertx and Amy were talking about their match with Jazz and Molly. They were both laughing and smiling. �What is so funny?� �Nothing.� Emertx giggled. �Emertx.� �Nothing Jeffy.� Jeff got up and walked over to her. Emertx couldn�t stop giggling. �Hey Matt, they are watchin the tape of the four of us at your house last week.� All four of them laughed. The week before there had been a party for only the four of them at Matt's house. Close to the end of it Emertx and Amy had gotten the video camra and recorded the guys wrestling around the living room. Later that night Jeff and Emertx were watching a movie on the couch. Emertx was lying in Jeff�s arms. When the movie was over Jeff looked down at her sleeping in his arms. He picked up the remote and turned off the TV �Come on baby.� Even though his arm was asleep he picked her up and took her to their bedroom. He laid her down and then changed his cloths. He laid down and pulled her into his arms. After starring at her few a few minutes Jeff fell asleep. When she's layin on my shoulder on the sofa in the dark and about the time she falls asleep so does my right arm and I want so bad to move it cause it's tingling and it's numb she looks so much like an angel that I don't wanna wake her up yeah I live for little moments when she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it Yeah I live for little moments like that |
