Joel sighed over the phone. �It was ok. I just miss you to death baby.� She couldn�t help but smile. �I miss you too but just think of it this way, only a few more days left till spring break.� Joel laughed. �Then we can be together for the whole week." �Yeah. Benji is calling I have to go. I promise I will call you later baby. Love ya bye.� �Love ya too Joel.� After they hung up Joel leaned back into his bunk. He hated being on the road so much. Sometimes he wished he had just gone to the local collage with Brittany. He rubbed his eyes and slid out of the bunk. �I have to wonder if this hurts her as much as it hurts me.� Benji looked up as his twin brother walked in. Benji had seen the same things go on with Billy and his girlfriend. Being on the road was hard on both of them, but all Joel wanted was to be with Brittany. Joel had always been a pretty jealous of other guys around Brittany, but now with him never there his mind always wondered if she would stay with him. �Sometimes I just wish I could die. Brittany sat on her bed deep in thought. Joel had seemed so upset on the phone and she couldn�t do anything about it. She wished he would just take her advice and whenever he was upset about them being apart he would just think about all the other times they had. She had helped him through his dad leaving, he had helped her make it, and all the good times they had laughing with the band. �Stupid exam. If I didn�t have it I could go see him sooner.� Brittany sighed and went back to studying. And I would drive the whole night through Just so I could spend it with you I know you're mine And I hope it's true that when we fight, we will make it through Benji watched his brother sit down and stare out the window. �Joel our next show is in four days. Brittany gets out on spring break in two. Why don�t you go get her? Spend two days with her.� Joel�s eyes brightened up as he looked at Benji. �I could do that.� �Yeah,� Benji laughed. �Drive all night and you can be there in the morning.� Joel called a rental car company and said goodbye to the band. He drove the six hours to get to her. There was something there that told him this would last even though he was on tour. They had fought a lot in the five years they had been together yet they never seemed to let it hurt anything. He looked over as he drove to catch up with the tour bus. �I am glad you don�t mind coming with me this week.� �Being with you is much better then going somewhere. Plus maybe in this week I can give you some really good memories for if you get sad again.� Joel smiled and nodded his head. He knew what she meant and also that she was right.
