"Here Days Come" (Amos 9:13) The fire of 'Ay will make our firebrand faces glow And our eyes like the sun of Giv'on. Like eagle wings the shadow of our flag will flow Frightening the Arab jackal in Zion. And from above, our sky will rest just On our heads like G-d's palm. And we will kiss our land's dust And we will cry from joy, like children, until calm. A day will come: our dust shall scatter To every wind in arid generations. But our nation planted on our blood matter To majestic G-d will give glorious commendations. Like the fronds of palms is our hand's make, We will grasp the sky's rays which are long; "Jealous and revengeful G-d, our lives take, But do our will because it is strong." Written by 'Yair'.
