Legal Experience

 

q       I handled cases in the following areas:  Bankruptcy, Criminal, Domestic Relations, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Probate, and Trials, including over 100 jury trials. Working knowledge of New Bankruptcy Laws.

 

q       I built a general practice from start up levels to the point where real estate holdings became the dominant focus.

 

q       Owned and managed several multi building residential rentals for over 10 years.

 

q       I have interviewed several thousand prospective clients  and tenants with a view to defining their problems and needs, and finding consensus solutions. 

 

q       And did appellate work up to the level of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati Ohio.

Computer and IT networking skills: 

 

q       I own and use several networked workstations and servers, including two Cisco 2500 series routers.

 

q       And have successfully implemented Microsoft IIS (Internet) Servers with multi-site capabilities including live streaming media using Microsoft Encoder.

 

q       I own and use Microsoft Advanced Server 2000 on my personal computer and have access to all aspects of server functionality.

 

q       Own and use the Macromedia MX Suite and have good working knowledge of Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

 

q       Own and use the Microsoft Office Suite.

 

q       I have excellent HTML and web page creation skills including some use of ASP, Java and other complex web page features.

 

q       Able to use most web page design programs, including FrontPage and Dreamweaver, among others.   I can also create or modify HTML code directly as needed.

 

q       I own several URLs and have many web pages currently running on the Internet including a Blog.

 

q       Quick to learn all desktop applications as well as back-end networking protocols.

 

Other Skills and Interests:

 

q       I studied color and black and white photography at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan.  And I own several digital cameras.

 

q       I studied typography and printing at the William Ford Vo-Tech in Westland Michigan, and have good working knowledge of offset press techniques as well as pre-press plate making and bindery.

 

q       Owned and operated a used bookstore in northern Michigan, (Cabin Fever Books.com).  Currently running on Amazon.com only. 

 

q       And I have skied every ski resort in the state of Utah including several that are no longer operating.
