Let me start by saying that the only bad thing about this show was that my friend Mandy did not get to go, it was her that informed my unobservant self about this show and it sucked for her not to get to be there. Despite a failing car and low funds, I managed to make it to the 'natti for this show. After standing on the always uncomfortable area close to the stage for what seemed like an eternity, a very unassuming person in a grey hoodie walked onstage. Turns out that this subtle figure was actually Josh Davis (aka DJ Shadow) himself, far from the deity that his music would have one conjure up the image of. He explained what equipment he would be using (2 tables, a mixer, a cd player, and 3 synchronized video screens) and announced that his opening act, rapper J-Live, had failed to show up, which gave him time to do an extended set. He then began to talk down his show prior to performing, claiming that he did not have the skills of some other DJ's and that he had never really done a show with only his material before. I'm not sure if this was due to concern of the quality of the show on his part or that he just wanted to talk down his performance, but regardless, he proceded to put on what was quite simply the most amazing show I have ever seen.  The video screens gave his already incredible music a whole new aspect, and he spliced together his songs (sometimes 4 at a time) in ways I never could have imagined. I can't really explain much more because I couldn't really do this man and what he does justice. Go purchase any of his material, (Entroducing, The Private Press, or any UNKLE stuff) and you will know how great his music is, and that is only half of his genius. In a word: Incredible
