Tondemo is a Japanese slang, meaning preposterous or outrageous. Tondemo is defined by the Academy of Outrageous Books (Togakkai) as "something amusing us from a perspective that differs from what the auther intends." Authers of tondemo books affirm terrible ideas seriously and entertain us. In Japan, tondemo books have aleady been established as a field of entertainment. By contrast, Korea is yet an undeveloped realm of tondemo. I think that it is because Koreans do not take a broad-minded view and cannot afford to accept heretical thoughts because of the immaturity of the society. I will introduce a few examples.
