The North East Travelling Post office Football Club would like to express their appreciation to the following people for their support over the last 12 years of the club's history.

Geordie playwright Tom Hadaway, for his high profile support, attending our matches and presenting cheques to Tyneside organisations at our benefit games. It is hoped that Tom will write a Television Play about the club in the near future. Mr. Les Todd and all at the council of the Northumberland F.A. for help in finding good quality venues for our matches, and given advice over a long period of time, and for helping us to improve our profile with publicity in the Northumberland F.A. County Newsletter “The Far Corner”, distributed to all clubs registered throughout Northumberland. Mr. Eric Larkham, a friend of the club for many years - Eric's help in opening doors and promoting the club has been priceless. The Northumberland branch of CAMRA, and to Jan Anderson and her husband Colin, for arranging publicity for our club's fixtures in the “Canny Bevvy”, and the high level help of the North East TPO's Care in the community policy at the Newcastle Beer Festival, each April at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Mr. Stan Gate for helping in getting us the quality fixtures we needed for ongoing expansion and for refereeing the vast majority of our fixtures. Mr. Vic Edminston from the Royal Mail's Community Action Unit, for the new team kit.

Mr.Bob Groundsel, for permitting us use of the pitch at Heaton Stannington Football Club. Mr.Bill McGurk , for our match reviews in the Grass Roots section of the Newcastle Evening Chronicle. Mr.Nick Loughlin for reporting our games in the Northern Echo. Northern Stage Company for providing our opposition in many charity matches, for help in fundraising, and for providing a springboard for a recent BBC Look North T.V. feature concerning the relationship between the two organisations.
