Pakistan Islamia H/S School Alain

·             The best place to get ur message to others is to scrawl it on  PIHS school Alain’s walls(and Lab tables of course!!)

·             Urdu stands for “Unique Rest Demanding Urgency”. So catch on last night sleep during Urdu period .This holds true for English period too(But don’t transfer the blame to me if u r caught dozing in the period)

·             Annual day is the day when the person honored the most is the one honored for attending annual day function.

·             An Apple a day keeps the doctor away but a skool test a day keeps all the life in life  away

Cricket shricket !!!!

·             He who lies the most is the best @ predicting results of cricket matches.

·             Inzamamul haq bats well only when the match is not crucial. (Exceptions possible!! if the sun rises 4m west)

·              A seminar on Water Conservation was held in Pakistan Islamia H/S School Alain as part of the Shell Bea awards .Delegates from other schools in the city also registered there attendance in the seminar. The speakers from national Drilling Company apprised the students about the dwindling water resources in the country particularly Abu Dhabi emirate. The students found the seminar eye-opening and very informative one. Laila Shabir a grade X (IGCSE) student of OOEHS, Alain said “It was quite interesting, very much related to a subject we're taught at school--Natural Economy. The basic conservation ideas were the same, though, learning so much about the place I live in, and the day-to-day problems faced by hydrologists here, was a pretty experience." I was particularly disturbed by the surge in the nitrate concentrations in underground water. The school plans to carry more such activates in future to raise the awareness regarding water conservation in the region.

·              As for Pakistan Islamia H/S School Alain’s students my grapevine told me that annual day has been deferred to 26^th march 2003 or later dates……
