Skool happenings
We the students of Pakistan Islamia High School Alain, bagged home the trophy of 14th Islamic and general knowledge quiz competition held by Islamia English. School in a sort of competition whose thrilling end according to one of the team members reminisced him of Miandad�s famous six in sharjah. After the last round of the quiz the PIHS Alain team reached a tie with the host school .The quiz came to a log jam when even three questions to each team later didn�t help in deciding the winner. The fourth question settled the air of uncertainty as PIHS Alain were answered the question while the host school�s team didn�t
This is the second time in the current academic year that we three students Khalid Abbas, Muhammad Atif (team captain) and Shehzad Aslam have won laurels for the school. Earlier we won the second slot in the quiz competition held between Pakistani schools of UAE .The quiz was rather like a fairytale. In the beginning things were not going our way but gradually the lady luck smiled on us .Just before the ends we were buried in the air of uncertainty but in the end we did it and it was quite surreal�.
