Here is our latest installment of sites, old and new, on the internet. Check
some of these out.
There are lots of Superbowl recaps from
CBS Sportsline to
http://www.superbowl.com
to the MSN Homepage. In fact, MSN even has a
link displaying the latest ads that played during the game (better have a pretty
good connection to view it though).
Race fans, it's almost time to "Start you engines..." at Daytona. They're also
remembering a bit of the past, given the major loss to the sport at last years
opening event, with a tribute to Dale Earnhart. The link, as of publish date, is
on the main page at the MSN Homepage. For all
other info on the 2002 season, here are some other necessary links:

Do you ever get a number that shows up on your bill or your phone ID box that
you can't guess what it might be? Did you know that you can find a lot of names
on the internet simply by typing in the suspect number? Did you know this is
FREE? Check out Infospace Reverse phone
search services at
http://in-133.infospace.com/inf o/reverse.htm or
AnyWho at
http://www.anywho.com/rl.html.
Do you ever get a guilt-trip reading an e-mail suggesting you should spend hours
and prayers, etc. worrying about some poor, lost, or otherwise troubled person,
place or thing? And, does this happen EVERYDAY? Well, before you send that
really important message out to 'everyone on your address list', maybe you
should check out this site provided by About.com:
http://urbanlegends.about.com These
folks have checked out and catalogued just about every instance, both old and
new, from 'too many simultaneous toilet flushings at half-time during the
superbowl' and missing children to chain letters and the dreaded SULFNBK.EXE
virus scam many have fallen prey to.
That's it for now, but we'll be finding some new ones for next time. As always,
you can submit your own to
me.
