Once, many moons ago, Earth was protected by her children. Over time however, this relationship has been forgotten. It is important to learn, once again, how to live in harmony and protect Mother Earth. She is the bearer of so many treasures that to ignore them would be a crime against her. This piece is a tribute to the greatness of the small gifts Earth has given me. I have used the feather of the Pidgeon, a symbol of peace, to show the diversity of the world around us...and that it desparately needs to be protected.
