Shaman ( 8" x 3.5" )

The practice of Shamanisn dates back farther than we have records for.  They exist in all cultures as the healers for the  spiritual as well as physical.  The job of the shaman is most often an intangible one, and on todays world, is often shunned as phoney or simply in fear.  The inspiration for this  piece comes from my respect of who the Shaman is an a humble-ness required to view this ancient and incredible art.  Also, I have employed the crow's freather as a symbol of the shapeshifting qualities a Shaman must posess to heal.
