Song Of The Sun ( 4.5" x 2.5" )

For many, the Sun is a giver of life.  According to a story told by the Brule Sioux Indian Tribe, the Sun was a creator of their land and gave woman her power and understanding as well as being the provider of the beginning of their race.   I was inspired to do this piece as a tribute to the hands that created the pictographs found on many cave walls that told these stories.  This symbol can be seen among them.  They continue to be told and recreated today.
