Of All Things Earth
Life began in simplicity and to this basic level of existence, for the health of the spirit, one must return. It is in the concept of knowing your spirit that we find out who we truly are. The heart is our path and it reveals the beauty, wisdom, strength of us and our Earth. I was inspired to do this piece by learning a path that takes my spirit back to it's roots. Mother Earth, (the painted feature of the feather). The rock is the solidity of grounding and the shell is the unknowns of life. I used the Crow's feather as a sign of moving freely in that ocean of unknowns.
