HARMFUL INGREDIENTS OF COMMERCIAL SOAPS AND DETERGENTS

(NOT USED IN DAILA PRODUCTS)

 

  • Petrochemical raw material AB (Alkyl Benzene)

    • Function: Emulsification, dispersion, creation of bubbles, dissolving and cleaning

    • Defects: High penetration power which can penetrate our skin due to after-washing remnants on clothing which in turn can cause liver and blood diseases

  • Fluorescent Materials

    • Function: Adheres to clothing and absorbs ultra-violet rays causing whiter appearance.

    • Defects: No washing power. May cause skin disease and even cancer.

  • Phosphate

    • Function: Water softener.

    • Defects: Causes eutrification of water and assists in growth of algae and micro-organisms that result in foul smelling water

  • Zeolite

    • Function: Water softener.

    • Defects: Insoluble in water, blocking washing machines and drainages.

  • Sodium Silicate

    • Function: Hardens soap and increases frictional force of water molecules

    • Defects: Frequent washing damages fabrics.
