If you are using OUTPLACMENT(OP) services be sure you are getting what you are contracted to get.
If your corporation offers you 10% of a yearly salary for tuition OR 15% of your salary for outplacement services, ensure that you understand the contract with the outplacment agency.
1. Can you spend more than 2/3 of the 15% on external education and or services or is it all fixed with the OP service
2. How much does each of the services at the OP cost ?
3. Will they give you a weekly summary of your expenses and your balances remaining to be spent ?
4. Do the services differ depending on the amount of money fixed to the OP ? such as - private office space versus crowded shared space ?
5. Ask your corporation up front if there are other options ?
