| Console Gamers vs. Computer gamers by The captain It seems to me that console gamers are more loyal to their classic games than computer gamers. I've observed that people who trend towards consoles are much more likely to become vintage gamers. Theres a number of reasons that may be the cause of this such as the fact that computers are always changing. For instance your old favorite windows 3.1 game might not be compatable with with windows 98. Another thing that detracts from computer gaming is the availabilty of older games. Some are very hard to find and they are not found in thrift stores and second hand shops. While its very easy to get the old nes out of the closet and pop in a cartridge. Computer gamers in general have a different mind set thatn the console gamers. The computer gamers seem to always be after the latest thing while vintage gamers still appreciate the latest games predicessors.
