Week 12: Raiders vs Seahwaks, Part Deux

It's time once again to face the Seattle Seahawks, a team I care nothing about. I don't really care that their defense is ranked 8th in the league. I don't even care that they are three and a half games behind me. All I know is that with Bo Jackson back in the lineup, I'm going to rip them a new one, Raider style.

1st Quarter

Derrick Fenner and John L Williams each got in a carry, but after 4 plays, Seattle had to punt. Unfortunately, things start out very badly for me. I run Bo twice, but the second one resulted in a fumble that went the other way for a touchdown. I had more problems running Bo in the next drive, but Willie Gault bailed me out with a double jump cutscene and a catch for a first down.Marcus Allen runs up the gut for 20 yards and Bo finishes the drive with a 7 yard TD. The Seahawks set themselves up for a punt at the end of the 1st.
Raiders 7, Seahawks 7

You know where this is going...

The Panty Shot was the highlight of the second quarter.

2nd Quarter

After Donnelly's punt brings me to the 26, Bo rattles off a big 44 yard run. Jackson and Allen run some more down to the 5 where Bo runs for another score. Seattle goes 3-and-out again and gives me the ball at my 32. After a sack by Jacob Green and a couple imcompletions, the half ends.

Halftime; Raiders 14, Seahawks 7

Other than a fluke fumble and a slow start by Jackson, it's pretty much all me. The Seahawks aren't doing much of anything besides throwing imcompletions and running Fenner for meager yardage. It's games like this I really don't like playing.

3rd Quarter

After a great kickoff return by Tim Brown that ended up at the Seahawks 30, it didn't take me long to put one in the endzone. Bo runs it in from 20 yards for his third. On Seattle's possession, Williams runs 3 times for 60 yards and catches a 7 yard TD. To make matters worse, Marcus Allen fumbles shortly after, and the Hawks have it back.
Raiders 21, Seahawks 14

That's enough excitement for today, JL.

That is just sad.

4th Quarter

At the start of the 4th, Riki Ellison ends his 3-game sack drought and it's 4th and 18. Krieg sails a pass out of bounds, so I luckily get the ball again. Bo takes advantage of the situation and runs to the Seahawks 9 yard line where he scores yet again. Then, bizzarrely enough, Chris Warren is tackled in the endzone on the ensuing kickoff for a safety. After the safety "kickoff", Bo fumbles again and Cortez Kennedy recovers at the 32. However, Greg Townsend gets a sack, and the Seahawks turn over on downs. On the next play, Bo scores a 70 yard TD run to give him five. Amazingly enough, Warren fumbles the return and Long recovers with 2 seconds left, enough time for me give Bo his sixth TD.
Final

What a bizzarre game! Between both teams there were 4 pass completions, 4 fumbles, 8 touchdowns, 339 rushing yards, and a safety. Also, I scored 44 points and only had 7 first downs. The 4th quarter was one of strangest I've played in a while. But all in all, I ripped Seattle a new one like I said I would.

Player of the Week: Bo Jackson
15 carries 223 yards 6 TDs 2 fumbles lost

Early on, I didn't think he had a chance to get it because of his first fumble. But it was a really sloppy game, and Bo seems to be the only player who comes out of a sloppy game with any decent stats.
