Likes: The Chao and peace. Enemies: The rest of her tribe? Friends: Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Big the Cat, E-102 Gamma, Knuckles the Echidna, the Chao, Chaos and Amy. Residence: Angel Island but was imprisoned in the Master Emerald, after that is unknown. Abilities: Giving people glimpses of the past by warping them there for a very short time. |

| Long ago when Angel Island was still prosperous and inhabited by the Echidna race, Tikal was the daughter of the chieftan, Pachacamac. Unlike the rest of her tribe, she believed in peace and harmony. Whenever around the Chaos Emeralds (servers), Master Emerald (controller) and the Chao, she felt at peace and happy. Due to her peaceful ways, the powerful and trusting force that guarded the baby Chao (Chaos) let her play with them. Later when her tribe tried to take hold of the Chaos Emeralds to gain more power and the once peaceful Chaos became a destructive juggernaut, Tikal used the Master Emerald to seal her soul along with Chaos' away in the Master Emerald. When the jewel was shattered open, both were released once more onto the world. In the form of a redish light, Tikal gave all the characters their own glimpses of the past to help them. After Chaos was returned to his old self, Tikal took his soul with hers and they disappeared somewhere. No one knows where they went but it sure wasn't the Master Emerald. |
