| Chaos was the guardian of the Shrine, Master Emerald, Chaos Emeralds and his baby Chao long ago. Tikal was the only one to earn his trust and he allowed her to play peacefully with his "children." He was a very peaceful and gentle creature despite what he looks like. One day, Pachacamac led his tribe to capture the Chaos Emeralds for themselves and trampled Chaos' Chao in the process. Chaos became enraged and something inside him snapped causing him to annihilate almost the entire echidna race on Angel Island. It was at this time that Tikal trapped them both within the Master Emerald but this did not diminish Chaos' feelings of rage and hate. When released onto the world once more in Sonic Adventure, he obeyed Eggman for a bit until he finally absorbed all of the Chaos Emeralds achieving his form "Perfect Chaos" and destroyed Station Square by flooding it. He did this because he still felt the hate and rage from those many years ago in his heart and soul and only wanted to wipe everything out. Instead of trapping him once again in the Master Emerald they decided to have Super Sonic abolish the evil living in Chaos then let Tikal take his spirit off somewhere. After returning to normal and floating off following Tikal, both spirits disappeared to an unknown location. |
