He's her number one rival). Friends: Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Amy Rose, Pira the Fox (my sister's character), The Chaotix, Takai the Hedgehog (ya should know her!) and Kai the Fox (I made up Kai). | Okay, let me clear one thing up first: I CANNOT draw for beans!!! When I was shown this picture, I got mad cuz that was the design I had in mind more or less (grr...) but I got an idea. What I did was traced part of the outline of the one I was shown then made changes to it to draw Nest. So yeah, some of this I did draw on my own *proud* As for the Emeralds, I drew those on the computer - which is also how I colored the picture. Alright, hopefully that cleared things up. And while reading this keep in mind I like the SEGA versions of the Sonic the Hedgehog - the games in other words - and not the comics. I like some of the shows but I like basing stories on the games more. Nest is the guardian of the Chaos Emeralds who came from the past when the tribe of echidnas was destroyed by Chaos. Her job was and is to make sure that when the Emeralds get in possession of someone who plans to use it for "evil" that they have the Emeralds taken from them as soon as possible. Unlike in the past, Angel Island won't stay afloat when all Chaos Emeralds are near, so she keeps just one of the Emeralds (the purple one) with her at all times since it requires all 7 to perform the "miracle." As long as their power isn't being abused, she lets the Chaos Emeralds go where they are. Go here to find out how she met and became a member of what I call the "Sonic Crew" (refering of course to Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles). When she first arrived in the present time she had no idea where she was or what to do. Nest wandered lost around Mobious for about a year, living as a thief - the modern clothes she has now are the clothes she stole to blend in with everyone - until she was visited by Tikal. That was when her search for Angel Island began. She's one independent girl, but she enjoys working on teams a lot. She'll help out only if she's really needed - sometimes when she's not - but otherwise doesn't like getting involved in something that's not her business. And she'll decide if it's her business or not. She can have a short temper at times but for the most part manages to keep a cool head, hiding much of what she really feels - for instance how she feels about Knuckles; she'll never tell (I smell another fanfic! =P). It's not hard to gain her trust so long as she feels on her own she can trust you. If she does not recieve a good "vibe" then you may never earn her trust. Update: Nest has discovered another "floating island" which she named Chaos Island (*cough*) because the Chaos Emeralds are somehow attracted to the land. It's smaller than Angel Island but has thicker forest areas. The largest clear area is an enormous waterfall in the center. On certain nights a miracle can be witnessed there but no one has seen it as of yet. "We have to move on, what's done is done; some things can't be prevented forever. Now we have two options: Do nothing, or we can quit being lazy and take action to actually do something about our problems. The choice is yours, do as you wish. But personally, I'd rather die awake and fighting than sleeping in the fragile, false sheets of eternal peace." - Nest the Echidna |
