Dodging Attacks and Resisting Magic

The following rules are mainly for duels. It becomes way to complicated and slow when dodging attempts and magic resistance rolls are allowed in quests. In quests your character will be hit with no chance to avoid damage each time an enemy makes a successful To Hit Roll. Your enemies will also recieve no chance to avoid damage when you successfully roll to hit them.

Dodging Physical Attacks

All characters begin wih a base score of 15 on a 20 sided dice to dodge physical attacks. Their base score is lowered by bonus's from Level, Dexterity, and Luck.

Example: Sally' character is 6th Level. She has 51 Dexterity and 22 Luck.
Sally begins with her base score of 15.
Next she goes to the "Levels and Advancement" section and sees 6th Level gives her +3 to all rolls. She subtracts 3 from her base chance to dodge of 15 which equals 12.
Next Sally goes to the "Statistics and Attributes" section. She finds the table for Dexterity and sees a score of 51 gives her +2 to dodge. She subtracts 2 from 12 which equals 10.
Finally Sally goes to the table for Luck and sees a score of 22 gives her +1 to All Rolls. She subtracts 1 from 12 which equals 9.
With all of her bonus's factored in Sally's needs to roll 9 or higher on a 20 sided dice to dodge physical attacks. Her total Bonus to dodge is +6.

Resisting Magical Attacks

All characters begin wih a base score of 15 on a 20 sided dice to resist magical attacks. Their base score is lowered by bonus's from Level, Intelligence, and Luck.

Example: Sally' character is 6th Level. She has 51 Intelligence and 22 Luck.
